great video! i totally understand the pain of spending a ton of time on a video to have it flop, its happened to me with about half of my hardcore videos, but it gets better. also, u dont need to give up on the most recent video doing well, ive had situations before where a video was flopping, then i changed the thumbnail and title and it blew up. keep up the good work, gonna go watch ur newest hardcore video now
For sure man! I just do my best on my videos and if it doesn’t go well I learn from it and apply my knowledge into my next video I’m still trying to become big but I never want to give up

ima be honest, i was just enjoying both vids a lot and when i saw this one i was like "what he talking about" cuz i thought ur were doing like very good on both, and you are 2k views is still a whole lot even if compared to 2 mil, people would wish to get half of that but you were able to make such high quality videos, even if the views seem low it dosent mean you are doing bad, its the algorithm not you, you didint fail you simply reach another obstacle.

your video was nice, problem was the theme being too niche + algorithm not picking your video to promote, unfortunately youtube nowadays is like that, sometimes they boost your video sometimes not, anyway, your editing pace and structure in that video was on point, keep putting effort and making good stuff

Never be scared to fail and don't always try so hard to live up to expectations because after all the majority of those are unfair and take a huge toll on creators health and to never be afraid to do what you love because people won't care if it does not meet the expectations that they have they just care if they have fun if they feel like that they can do that which gives them motivation to try to do that and then they have fun Even if they don't succeed So never be afraid to make a videos because all these videos have inspired me to try to do the exact same thing And I failed miserably But I still had fun doing it

Great video I can totally relate to this... when I was 13 I had my first viral video, and in the following months I destroyed my channel out of fear. Honestly, it took 2 years to find any sort of success again. But it was worth it. I still have plenty of flops, but I'm consistently finding success now.

Failing is really hard. Learning to fail gracefully and being able to pick yourself up afterwards and continuing on despite it is even harder. But something I think most people forget to remember is all the successful people in the world started by going through and suffering many, many, many failures, and simply overcame that fear and THAT'S why they were able to find success. Just look at Mr Beast with several years making many videos doing poorly or okay before he really started to grow. Unfortunately most people can't get past that and that's why they stay trapped in the fear of failure. " Fail fast, fail often"- the more you fail, the more you should grow resistant to it dragging you down. If you really want this, do not stop. Keep going, even if it's slow. UA-cam isn't for everyone as it requires a high tolerance of failure, but if it's what you want to do I hope you don't give it up on it too easily. Good luck

hello kirby, first video supporter here, I just wanna say that worrying about the numbers on youtube is normal, because it is YOUR hard work after all, and having such a big difference in views can be incredibly disappointing, however, the best thing to do is to keep going, your videos are amazing and top notch quality. Also, i think the main reason your second video flopped was because all the hype from the initial video was lost, people probably also probably forgot who you are and who they subscribed to.(+forgot about the first video content) Just keep going man❤️

This is coming from a kind place.
The first video was enthusiastic and fun but the pace wasn’t overwhelming.
The second video didn’t give that same connection within the first 30 seconds and that feeling of curiosity definitely wasn’t there.
I believe the element of surprise would’ve been better. You revealed exactly what you was going to do which is great but I had nothing to be excited for!
The first video outlined your plans but it was unclear from a viewers POV how/what you would achieve.
The second video made it very clear that you’d be eating a lot of cake and building something cool to showcase that. But it might have been better if you had set a time limit or created a reason that you could fail (because it was pretty obvious anyone could eat that many cakes with unlimited time and no other obstacles).
It’s much more appealing to be unsure if someone can achieve the goal or especially if the goal sounds so outrageous. So much so, that you have to find out how they did it.
Basically the end goal wasn’t exciting enough on its own to make me watch the whole video. That doesn’t mean the concept wasn’t good and that doesn’t mean you wasnt funny. But you must appreciate the connection between you and your viewers comes over time. So your personality (as great as it is) is just one reason you’ll continue to make great videos.
But right now you’re building that connection and you’ll need multiple big videos to gain the trust of viewers.
Also the thumbnail is cool and I’m sure you experimented with the contrast but the cake really does blend in.
I would’ve had no choice but to watch the full video if the cake seemed impossible to build or if there was a reason you wouldn’t have been able to achieve it.
Obviously anyone with half a brain would realise that if the cake was in the thumbnail it must have been built in the game. Make me curious. Make me ask how. Because it felt like I was more just asking why? As in why bother?

No doubt once you will get over this and just get on positive free flow grind making good videos for your people to enjoy everything will be alright and you will grow. The effort you out, pacing is top notch, comedy is great, would suggest to take it little more easy though, not burn yourself, but yeah you got this, and with time you will find this to be rather silly part of your past as you stand on top of many successful videos and with company of people who enjoy what you make
