You know what was really fun? In MGS 4 right before the battle with Vamp in Rex's hanger, you can find the "Yell Dead Cell" track for the iPod. So during the fight, instead of the track that's supposed to play, you get the original.

It’s amazing how even in the year 2022. The main plot of the game rings true to society and how we operate as humans as well as our relationship between censorship and information and who controls the flow of it. My perspective has changed immensely from when I first played this game in 2001-2002 to now. George Sears had a good point just executed it terribly.

The other day while I was at this island fort we have off the coast of Sydney I was walking around looking at all these cannons that would have been used to bring down Japanese planes back in WW2 if they were to ever come that far south (and Russian planes too apparently) and just the thought of having to shoot down a plane made Yell Dead Cell start playing in my head.
Even though it's probably one of the earliest historical examples of such, this is THE most boss-music'y boss-music that ever boss-music'd. Like, I think at this point you can play it while fighting ANY boss in any game and it would somewhat fit
