و عليكم السلام Yes, if you are using an android phone, you can simply press the (.) dot key for two seconds which you should find next to the space key. When you press it for 2 seconds, you will see all the symbols coming up on the screen

Salaams brother, just a small question, how do we know which english letter key is what arabic huruf? Did you just try each key and find which key gives what corresponding arabic letter. I know there are tables and things but its annoying having to keep checking a chart while you are trying to type.. thanks...
You are right. It's a bit tricky, but there are easier ways to do it other than the diagrams and tables: through google translate for example, and using transliteration of English sounds to Arabic ones. It seems a bit complicated but believe it's not. Stay tuned and I'll be posting a tutorial about it very soon, and afterwards I'm sure it'll be a piece of cake, in shaa Allah.
Salaam brother, I've similar setup and I rather use on screen keyboard but there is a word that I'm unable to write. I'm talking about first word in 2:86 اُولٰئِكَ . Notice I wrote it without 4 harakat madd because I don't know how to write it on computer. Maybe you can help.
Wa alikom asslam, Yes I understand what you mean. The madd sign ~ is not exactly found as it is found in Qur'an, and you can't type it on top of another letter like the example you mentioned. There is however a workaround and that is using the Uthmani font. In a previous video of mine I gave it away and in it I explained how you should use it to type in the exact same way as in a normal Arabic Mus'haf. You'll find the file in this link: drive.google.com/file/d/1IvxpqXC4q7Ua_kBN6k3FSiqxZubNA8oS/view?usp=sharing So there is NO direct solution for the madd sign. As far as I know, that is the only way to get it typed on the computer. Hope this helps in shaa Allah.

@@iahmedchowhan Great effort brother, The one you wrote is not correct because the alif is on top of the laam, AND it has madd on top, while the alif should be AFTER the lam not on top of it. So the one on the left is correct, and on the right it is not correct.

Asslamo alikom, There is no key combination for that symbol, unfortunately. What you can do, is to program the autocorrection of your phone to type in the ٱ whenever you, for example, type two times alif اا then the phone will suggest it for you.

That depends on the font brother/ sister. Some fonts do it under the shaddah and others under the word. In whichever cases, it's correct and the same. What you can try is to type shaddah first then kasra, and also try kasra first then shaddah, some fonts make a distinction between the which you type first to give you both possibilities. The dagger alif is only available in some fonts. Please download the Uthmani font, which you can find on our website, and it will help you in shaa Allah arabic101.org
It's true that it takes a bit of time, but the more you do it the faster you become in shaa Allah. There is however, a trick which will make the tashkeel be typed automatically. The problem is that it needs some instructions to be used properly, otherwise it will be very confusing. Expect a video soon in shaa Allah to provide further instructions. Asslamo alikom

In my version of Word 360in 2024 on Windows 10, Alt+Shift does not change the keyboard. Windows + Spacebar does that.

Yes brother, alif like that ا without hamza on top IS hamza wasl
