    I really wish they would just always use the diacritics honestly 😭 I actually did pretty good at the reading though, I feel proud of making it this far. 😭

    for tashkeel in arabic at 10:48 we can see a tajwin on lam, so wont that be pronounced as tashkeelun? shouldnt the lam have a sukon on it instead?

  • @zackf1064
    @zackf1064 Рік тому

    And how about long vowels, how do you call them in arabic? Are they تَشْكِيل or حَرَكَات? Or do they have a special name for them self?

    • @ArabicMubeen
      @ArabicMubeen  Рік тому

      Long vowels are (أ، و، ي).
      These are letters, not تشكيل (or حركات). They're called حروف العلة.

  • @zackf1064
    @zackf1064 Рік тому

    Harakat can be translated as vowels, right? But how do you translate Tashkeel into English?

    • @ArabicMubeen
      @ArabicMubeen  Рік тому

      Harakat are a subset of Tashkeel. Tashkeel can be translated as diacritics.

    @Mubeen,could you, please, help me understand shaddah at 10:06? I do
    not quite understand why and how I can recognised when the word is pronounced as radda or raddun. Thank you for your kindness and patience

    • @ArabicMubeen
      @ArabicMubeen  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Oceana, Shadda gives more stress on a letter. See 9:08. مَرَّ is pronounced as Marra while مَر as Mar.
