    Two members of Creedence Clearwater Revival played Farm Aid 1985. We see bassist Stu Cook here, and John Fogerty was a solo act.

      I didn't think he joined Southern Pacific until 1986, but here he is!
      John Fogerty also played this event - I wonder if the two of them ran into each other during the event. Awkward!

    This would have been great on the Petty Country album with so many country music artists paying tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!

    These guys, Pirates of the Mississippi, Bailey and the Boys, 4 Runner - all underappreciated bands. Thank goodness for UA-cam preserving their work.

    At 1:24 it appears EH had to hold her microphone point-blank just to be heard very well. But I like this song, the studio version of which I grew up hearing.

      Bassist Stu Cook reunited with drummer Doug Clifford in 1995 and formed Creedence Clearwater Revisited. They toured from 1995-2019, retiring just last year.
