Hello master, do you think a 3-color DNA can be made? I'm trying, but it's impossible for me !!

I love that you used right-side cobra knots so that it becomes a right-handed double helix like real DNA.

Thank you for this short and sweet and not confusing tutorial. I was able to make this key chain in just a few minutes. I will be using this hitch on all my future paracord creations.

That's because tying your shoes daily is a waste of time when there's a better alternative.
This is art, you're creating something new and useful and interesting. Therefore brain says "time well spent"
They say adhd is a disability, I say it's actually just highly productive. Just happens to be more production, as in forward only. No time to stop and finish what's no longer useful. Must do the next thing! 😂

I actually changed it up just a small bit by using 15 feet of two colors, a carbineer, and a key ring to make what I call a lanyard keychain. I think it turned out beautifully especially by following your tutorial and doing small tweaks to get a different result.

Made this as a gift for someone at work and it turned out nice! I used a similar color scheme (gray for main color and red for accent); I'd just say that you might want to cut your main color 6-9 inches longer. I cut both to 4.5ft and ran out of gray just short of the bottom of the hitch and had to finish with just the red.

Another thing to mention is if you end up in this predicament again you can always add length to your short strand by adding another piece to it butting the two together melted at the ends. Depending on where the melted bit ends up in the weave you usually cant even tell it was done.

Hi Tim, love this! Instead of letting it twist tying same right side cobra knot, I used the 2 colours but one strand each side and then regular cobra knots keeping it flat, try it it gives a unique effect. Fab tutorial 🤩

Take the 7 white strands out of the center of your paracord, this will give you a thinner version, works for smaller bracelets too.

Gorgeous man! Not sure what I am doing wrong but I end up with a big knot. First tutorial I've failed (thought I was good at this) but it's not you. I'm just super sucking at this. I'm ending up with a giant knot. Can that happen from just pulling to tight? I'm doing right hand all the way down and alternating.

    • @wpdfreak

Of course you can! As far as I know, you can't copyright, trademark, or license the way a knot is tied. So if somebody puts this kind of information out there for people to learn, they can do with it what they wish.
