My friend, Maxime Denoncin, is based in Belgium and is a Trusted Member of the meteorite community. He is a longstanding member of the "Knowledge Bolide Crew" where he regularly contributes educational content for our weekly "Knowledge Bolide" Hangouts. He has collected meteorites for 11+ years and now likes to share his passion with others through inspirational videos like this one.
Maxime made this video and commented: "A random compilation of another 50 meteorites, just to share their beauty and variety. Meteorites are incredibly diverse. Despite the fact that there are dozens of different meteorite classes, each meteorite is basically unique. This video is an attempt to show a little portion of this diversity. It is also an attempt to show the incredible and fascinating beauty of those space rocks."

Beautiful natural creations. People always say, "keep looking up", but now when I am out and about in the daytime, I will be "looking down".
Well said! This is a great comment. When I'm in a smart-ass mood and people ask me where should they look for meteorites I say on the ground.
I am actually taking my first Meteorite into to get it Authenticated, hopefully tomorrow. It's of the Stoney variety, but still has a little magnetism. It has red shock veins and it underwent some serious char on the outside. Hopefully I'm not holding a meteorwrong, but I took a 12 step ID process which i found very helpful. I think it is beautiful, but there are some much nicer looking Iron Meteorites on this video, wow, beautiful for sure. Finding one gave me the bug and i will always search now lol. Good video, very nice 👌
Thanks & Good luck with that sample.
These things absolutely get COOKED, the look is unmistakable once you see it.
Exactly - I encourage everyone to track down a meteorite display at a local museum or other trustworthy source to familiarize yourself with what real meteorites look like. (Or buy one from me)
The collection is exceptional. It should be displayed in a Gallery or show. There are always events you could sell the collection to a Gallery or Any aerospace company,
There will be time to sell in the future. Now is the time to collect!! THANKS!

Fantastic Maxime!!!!
Many thanks!! He rocked another one!
Have you found any meteorites with diamonds, peridot or other gemstones in them? Sonia McVicar
Stuff like that is extremely rare in meteorites but does exist. We didn't entire show on the topic. Look One of our weekly hangouts called Space Gems.
I've said it before but I'll say it again - this is the best meteoritic videography I've seen! True space poetry. A lot of those meteorites have never been shown on video in such detail.
Well said! Thanks Domyan. He is giving you a run for the best content. HA!
Pretty sure your new macro videography setup will soon do miracles too Domyan!
have some stones you would like to see.
Nope
I live next to a meteor impact crater 4 miles wide. I have many, many of these.
What is the name of the crater?
I think you live near a fallen angel crater
Thanks for sharing these beautiful specimens. What is in the "Rantila" India specimen that made you decide to use a uv light? Amazing, doesn't look real, until you show it in regular light, then it's sort of humdrum...but they all are wonderful and I would be very happy w/any little pc. Fantastic photography, just the best. Could watch these things all day long. Thanks again!
Great comment 👍 Thanks a bunch. Maxime did this video by himself and deserves all the praises.
Here is some information about Rantila in a short video on my channel. ua-cam.com/video/cibJ6f6UD_o/v-deo.html

How to verify this rock is meteorite. Because I have some rock collection. From out of mountain area . So please tell me . They can attract with magnit. Hope you reply soon as possible
Due to the thousands of requests I get on a monthly basis, I can only support those who support me financially on patreon. It cost $25 a month to join at the Rockhound level and I do one rocket education per month. If you're cheap you can quit after the first month.
Hi sir i have meteorite stone it is magnetic and suoer heavyweight 2750 klogrms .how can i send you my testing vedio?pls.reply tnx much..
No, that is not what my company does. If you'd like to do a rock identification, you need to support me financially on Patreon. It cost $25 a month and you can cancel after the first month if you're cheap.

@@TopherspinMeteorites I got a little creeped out looking at some of them! 😂 I think it’s due to the unfamiliar shapes and colors. I’ve never seen anything like that before! Very humbling.
Are these from your collection?
Definitely some types of meteorites I've never seen before
They actually belong to my buddy Maxime in Belgium. He did all of the "50 Meteorites in..." series. He has a nice macro photo setup and I am happy he lets me share his video on my channel. I tagged his channel in the video description if you want to follow him. He has quite a great collection of smaller samples and rare types. Thanks for adding.

Hello, I found a yellow stone, the light passes through it He also wrote how to send a photo to see if it is valuable or not

that's a crystal most likely. Or they call them half crystals. You will see the crystals inside it if you chop it

Are all of these magnetic?
No, most howardite eucrite diagonite Mars and Moon are all non-magnetic
So how do I know that's not just a rock you found? I mean I find nice looking different kinds of rocks all the time.😂
I don't find any rocks or any meteorites. If you watch my content, I am sure you know that I am very well connected to the sources in NWA. I buy everything shown on my channel from Africa or other trustworthy dealers like myself. Also, everything in this video is owned by my friend in Europe. He physically displayed the official names of each sample on the screen for you to research. Did you do any research based on the 50 named meteorites? Did you even read the video description to know who you were trying to insult?
❤
Thank you
A stone that attracts magnets, its density is 2.83, its color is black inside and out, and it contains fine, shiny crystals. It scratches ceramic and does not leave a color because it hurts ceramic.... The stone is very hard and scratches iron.... Does anyone tell me what type it is or how to determine its type? Thank you

Absolutely gorgeous! So many beautiful details. That El Sauz at 8.30 - I’ve never seen such an interesting gold colored nodule - do you know if that is pentlandite? Thanks for putting this together Topher!
The little nodule in the El Sauz is simply a bigger than usual metal grain that was partially melted during fall. It thus pops out through the fusion crust. The color is due to irridescence, itself caused by the thin layer effect. The golden color of some metal inclusions might also be due to the presence of FeS.
Thank you for explaining 🙂 I was wondering about it myself.

We receive a bunch of messages with requests for our help like this every day, so we have started to direct people to our Patreon. With our new Rockhound/Hunter Supporter" tier, you are entitled to one rock identification per month, in addition to other benefits.
Unfortunately, if we took the time to provide free rock identifications to each and every person who contacted us, we would have gone out of business already. We work regular jobs, so all of the hundreds of hours of content we create for the channel is done during our free time. We recently just started the Patreon last month, so we are hoping that people who enjoy the work we do and would like access to our time support us so we can keep creating content.
Thanks so much!

On average only 5 or 6 meteorites are found a year in the entire world.
In comparison diamonds are extremely common. Its estimated only about 60,000 meteorites have been found in all of human history.
