@@fredkemsley126 Thanks Fred. Glad you enjoyed it. there are a few vids on the channel that showcase some of these spots mentioned if you want to see how they fair. We will be visiting each of these spots for a vid in time. so if you'd be keen to see that consider subscribing. It really helps alot. Cheers- Ryan
@@nextleveladventuresau You've gained a sub! I'm off to an AirBnb in Spencer in January right on the Hawkesbury. Was curious as to what kind of bait you would suggest to use and just set up in general? Cheers mate.
@@fredkemsley126 Funny you mention that place, we had a local on the entrance suggest that to us just last week when we were fishing up there. I believe its still salt water up there. Usually for the upper Hawkesbury we use chicken thigh as bait and for the rods usually a 10-15lb braid main line, 20lb mono leader with a running sinker and small hook. 90% of our trips we will come back with something.
Hey mate. They are illusive, haven’t got one myself from the upper Hawkesbury but have seen a lot of photos of them caught around the heads and the bays found in the headlands area. A guided fishing tour would probably be well worth your time if your hunting for specific species 👌
Easy to make a anchor. Get a decent rock tie u rope around it a few times. FFS your not trying to anchor the Titanic. Anything to slow u drift will work. Improvise. Best fish are caught in the drift. Flattys Jewys
nice video 👍 subbed .
Typical Hawkesbury day. Fished out.
Picked up a nice 1.1m slab today (:
Nice Job Mate!
Local advice? I don't think so. Gunya, Flint and Steel and Juno. Every man and his dog knows those spots.
well mate there are people that dont and that is why this video was made. it was a bit of fun and aimed at helping people.
What a silly comment, great video mate
