About Launch Control (LC) ►
If you want to make realistic-looking car animations in Blender in no time, LC is the tool for you!
It's built around 3 different parts of the process:
1. Automatic Rigging (One-Click Rigging of 4-wheeled cars)
2. Animation with presets for quick results
3. Physics simulations that bake fast and can be modified in real-time
LC strives to make vehicle animation accessible and eliminates the usual problems you stumble over, when turning your action-sequence dreams into reality (a virtual reality, that is).
The simple interface packs a ton of power and in the "Manual Gearbox" you have a world of customization options to tune LC to your liking.

Super awesome!!
Hope u manage to figure out how to animate multiple vehicles in 1 file (without reference linking multiple files...which is kind of a good option)
Yeah!! We did! We are still developing that, but in out test-builds we can already rig multiple cars and select which one we want to adjust using an interactive dropdown. However, all functions need to be rewritten to work with multiple cars, which is what we are working on now. So good news is: It's on the way! - just sadly didn't make it in this update.
Nice! Count me in for the next version.
What is your update purchase policy?
Purchase all new updates separately/free next version update/free all future updates?
Hey Daniel, it's an awesome addon for rigging car! Thanks for this! Can you tell how to export the animation to Houdini?
Hi there!! Sorry for the long wait :/ It's hard to keep track of UA-cam comments.
I believe you can use the built-in fbx exporter in Launch Control. I haven't tested it with Houdini myself, but I think it should be able to load it.
@@DanielVesterbaek Thanks :)
hi ! can you create custom animation with this addon? i mean, you can create your own car lines without using the animation presets..
Hey man!
Thanks for the question :)
Yes, there is a new option for "user path", which makes it very easy to pick your own path for the car to follow
do i have to buy a new bundle to get the 1.3 version?
No, no, if you already own Launch Control, all new updates will be available to you for free!
@@DanielVesterbaek huge w
Can u make one tutorial with two wheels or motorcycle ?
Right now, I am focussing on 4-wheeled cars which is a big topic in itself. I would love to dive into 2-wheeled in the future though!
He'llo i am getting wobbly wheels what could be the problem? Please help
Hello Brian!!
Sorry for not getting back to you earlier! :(
A better place to ask these questions in the future would be directly in the BlenderMarket messages, on the Discord or directly by email to "daniel.v.jensen@gmail.com". On UA-cam I tend to miss the messages :(
It could be 2 things:
- EIther the "Wheel Wobble" slider in the viewport interface
or
- That the wheels were not straight before rigging or that the tire mesh used for rigging does not have equally spaced out vertecies. (For instance if it has some sidewall details)
If you are still having problems with this, please shoot me an email at "daniel.v.jensen@gmail.com" and I will try to help you out in detail in there with some videos/pictures :)
Thanks a lot! And sorry again for the long wait!!
Will it suport motorcycle in the future?
We definitely want to make a similar tool for motorcycles in the future, but LC will keep focusing on 4-wheeled vehicles and is optimized for that.
Would this work with flying cars?
Hey man!
Thanks for your question!
Launch Control was built to tackle 4-wheeled cars, so it wouldn't work so well with flying cars, no :/
Sorry can anyone help me, i want to change the plane where the animations would work but don't know how to use it
Hello!! Thank you for your question!
So you would like to change the ground the car is driving on? :)
@@DanielVesterbaek Yes but i have already risolved the problem, i deleted the default plane and added mine to the group
25% promotion code is not working on BlenderMarket :(
I was having the same issue. Try copying and pasting the code again including the quotation marks. Once pasted, select and delete the quotation marks then click apply. I don't know why that worked for me, but it did.
@@Burnout3D Thank you very much this worked for me! :)
Thanks a lot for letting me know! Hmm, must have been some weird html thing :/
Glad that @Burnout3D fixed it!!
