I think it would be cooler for the Summons to lose hp rapidly after you die, rather than just disappear. Be a bit of a flair for the summoner. Overall excited, hope to see more of the Summoner, its the big thing I've been waiting on!
Just one question, is this game going to be a xp grind and not even bother to find a more creative way of lvling? Are there going to be quest lines that you can do that are tied to the lore of the game, making the exploration of the game and what you face, more cohesive and give players options, especially I am thinking in the group setting that this game is going to be? (and of course to some extent solo quests that get people into the lore of the world at the same time?).
Story Time: Back in, I think, 2000 or 2001 there was a bug my friend and I discovered. He was an enchanter and I was a mage. We were in the arena and he charmed my pet. When the charm broke, the pet went rogue. It was KOS to everything. So, we decided to go to North Freeport to the bank before peak playing time and have him charm my level 54 Air pet and let it go NPC off to the side. We (3 of us) went invis and sat around waiting for the first victim. The air pet was invisible and no one was going around it so my friend grabs an empty bag i summoned him and puts it on the ground next to the pet. He then /ooc "Bag of bronze on the ground whoever dropped it." Some half elf female ranger says "Oh, it's mine" and goes to pick it up. The chaos ensued. That pet destroyed the entire area, guards and all (the server was relatively new and we were no-job losers so we were some of the highest levels on the server). After about 20 or 30 minutes of slaughter, a GM showed up and vanished it. He looked around at the 50+ corpses laying around and /ooc's that anyone affected by the rogue mage pet to message him for GM rezes. Those were good times. Poor GM.
Game was going to be niche before the art downgrade, but now it has no chance, look at this compared to ashes of creation eternal tombs, whats coming. It has no audience.
