The very filming of this must have been strange . Bela Lugosi doing his best to remain Bela . God love that man . He was incredible . His origins , his early career, he stood apart in every shot, and his mere presence disrupted the whole situation, which came to harm him I think . He was absolutely larger than life and the world sees that every time he appears in film .
This was my favorite film as a kid. The ending where he becomes Super Bela instead of another failure was....great. If Bela is in it, I'll watch it..God I love this flic...
Yeah - it seems he stayed Bela in every film . He kept the accent and kept the foreign mystique thing. Funny - you cannot say Transylvania without hearing his voice in there …
Lugosi was a Captain or Major, in WW I, in one of the worst military disasters of that war. Wounded, that lead to his addiction to painkillers to keep working. He presided over hanging or shootings of deserters ,executed at his orders. Scary oh yes !!!
He was just stereotyped as scary because of his Hungarian accent in Hungary he played diverse roles even as Jesus I think. Americans associated Transylvania with vampires is all he was a war hero that's how he got hooked on heroin he was shot and doctors gave it to him for pain. I think he was very talented and charming.

Bullets can do nothing to an Atomic Superman.
Super Swedish angel kicks ass and so does Lugosi

It's Ed Wood, so you can't expect much, but it's better than a lot of current Indie flicks
Wish they'd go back to making movies like this

Ed’s finest.
Ed Wood here
Home? I have no home! Hunted! Despised! Living like an animal….
I knew this was going to be a good movie when I saw that Thomas K. Connelly was the key grip.🙄
I would have thought after this Ed Wood would've been a shoe-in to direct The Godfather! 😂😮😂
❤
Bluh,...... BLUH!
