The last park up is a perfect stop over before heading up the valley to Brecon. Bonus that you also get to park right next to the 20m high statue, 'Guardian of the Valleys'!
At least in Scotland we don't tend to ruin our countryside with rubbish. What a shame man. Looked like it would have been so nice. Rubbish makes it look like a shithole.

A sheet of bought puff pastry. Smear with good French mustard. Cover with ham slices. Cover ham with cheese slices. Roll up and cut into about one inch slices. Rub with a beaten egg. Bake @ 160 for 10 mins. Scoff, make more.
If you go Nepal definitely do Annapurna circuit which you do a loop behind the worlds 10th highest peak Annapurna and go through Throng La Pass & drop down to Jomsom. Me & my mrs did the trip back in 2014 and it was a trip never to forget.
Wales better than Scotland. I will crack the jokes. Wales is lovely, but Scotland is a clear level (or 2) up, and if you think differently, you clearly haven’t explored both.

enjoyed your video will, as allways your very entertaining, but all that litter & rubbish laying about has spoiled what could be a nice bit of countryside, the authorities should get people on community service or people them on job seeker,s allowence to help clean the place up, also nice to see that your both eating well, but i.d have to pass on the marshmallows in the hot chocolate, i never did like marshmallows unless its the type thats in tunnoks teacakes, which is quite nice, & if i was out camping in a van, i,d have to find a propper chippy & also a nice homemade bakery or butcher,s to get a couple meat & tattie pie,s, or steak & kidney pies.
love the video but you have no concept of how batteries work ofcourse you can't cook dinner off your lithium batteries , maybe if you had a seperate alternater and turned on the engine while cooking else it drains the battery basic battery knowledge

Hello mate really like your channel. You should try going to the valley d'ossau in the pyrenees. You can park and watch up the animals on the mountains with the shepards. Plus in spring there are rivers etc. Best regards

Bogeyroad would be your tipping ground.. next to trefil quarry which is what the fencing was for. There’s also landfill on the dual carriage next to it. Lovely views up there in the day as you’ll see rhymney Bargoed as well as most of Merthyr and the beacons.
I live in Wales and I’m a truck driver and Merthyr Tydfil and rumnney do not park within 5 miles of not safe anywhere past Penyfan is fine and Abergavenny coach park is free.
The place that you thought was an army camp is Ffos y Fran opencast coal mine which recently closed. It was producing 75% of the coal still being mined in the country.
Where the rubbish 😢 is common ground the rubbish comes from the rubbish tip. The work place is the open cast. That area is beautiful but you were unlucky to come in to the common the wrong way.
What is wrong with folk, littering like that in beautiful countryside, absolutely bonkers, made me wanna go do the waterfalls with the kid though, looked great

I’m interested in your thoughts on this. What were/are my roots content wise? I started this channel travelling around Nepal then got into the van life scene car camping in my Ford Galaxy and then with everything in life things evolve and progress and you have to try new things which is what I’ve done. I still love nothing more than going out in the van adventuring around places I’ve never been but doing that all day everyday wouldn’t be fun. This isn’t a defensive reply even tho it probably seems like that, I’m genuinely interested to know what getting back to my roots is?
