    Good review. Agree Wasp is v. good all rounder. I don’t have problem with the leash. I find Boston valve rubbish poor, as it lets salt water in they turn to salt crystals, then punctures, which are really annoying. That and a thicker pipe to the centre struct to improve deflation is the only thing I would change. Maybe windows too but then you have a weight compromise.

    Be interesting see what they plan to do for V2. There are not many things I would change except the one pump tube.

      How about adding a window so that you can see where you are going?

    For those seeking real power, I recommend the Wasp 6. Between 19 and 25 knots, its already extremely powerful, but above 25 its crazy. If you have a 6 and 19 knots minimum, you can actually beach start with a twin-tip. Riding a wing with a twin-tip is probably even more fun than foiling.

    How does it compare to new stuff? I found a good deal on 2 of them

    Thanks for the video Gunnar! Are you going to test the F-one Swing? I heard that the Swing is as good as the WASP.

    Hi Gunnar, what fin and what board are you riding? They look so efficient. Congrats... Great video, I am stoked by the WASP wings.

      Hi Giovanni.
      On the green Wing I am riding the Moses W790 and on the Orange Wing I am riding the new W1000 high AR Front wing.

      The board with orange wing is the Indiana 5'3 surffoil board and on the green wing the Indiana 150cm Wingfoil board

    You are awesome Gunnar! Thank you for your excellent videos. I just ordered a Wasp for what will be my most used wing size, and I might get Gong wings for more abnormal wind speed days around here. Is there any chance you will try the Gong Superpower 9m? That wing must be insane if the pulse already has such a powerful low-end.

      Hi Kevin. Thank you. Glad you liked the video. Yes. My 9m Gong Superpower will be arriving sometime next week and the review will follow a couple of weeks after that.

    I have no idea how they didn't make that 1-pump hose way bigger. It's such an obvious problem with an obvious solution. Can you recommend which leash you use for your wings? I have the exact same problems with them getting wrapped around my arm or under my neck when switching hands.

      For my 5 and 6 I use a 9ft Ocean Earth SUP Race Coil Leash. On my 3m and 4m I use a Body Board Coil leash with a 20cm extension.

      I dumped the ozone leashes for the duotone leashes.

    How would you compare it to the S25. I agree about the handles and think it should be mandatory for all wings to have them ;-)

    Könntest du bitte genauer beschreiben, wo du die Hände hast beim 5m2, wenn du pumpst, oder foilst usw?

    • @GunnarBiniasch
      @GunnarBiniasch  4 роки тому +1

      Beim pumpen in leicht Wind benutze ich dem 2ten und 5ten handle. Bei stark Wind den Y Handle und 5ten handle. Beim foilen am meisten dem 2ten und 5ten oder 4ten.

    Gunnar Grey review as per usual - hey I’m a newbie to winging and using the 6m wasp what handles do you use for upwind - down wind etc - my upwind is struggling

    • @GunnarBiniasch
      @GunnarBiniasch  4 роки тому

      Thanks Jonathan. When displacing (not on the foil) I use the bottom Y Handle and the 3rd Handle on the strut. When foiling I use the 2nd and 5th Strut Handle.

    Great video’s! I have a 4.2m swing at the moment (and I love it) and looking for a light wind option below 15 knots. Is the 6m Wasp a better choise than the 6m swing? (Because of the powerfull ridgid structure and better pumping). I am 65 kg.. and ride mainly on a lake.. thx!

    Hey Gunnar ! thanks for sharing. I love my Ozone Wasp 4m since the beginning . I've been riding it for almoste 10 monthes now..great build and it's really still in a good shape and very rigid after more than 50 sessions now...As i'm starting to use thinner high aspect foil wings, I found recently that the Wasp was pretty slow compared to other wings like the Duotone...doesn't matter while surfing as Speed is not the main goal of wingsurfing but that's a fact. I spent an afternoon with an Echo and was blown away by the difference (the profile was flatten).. what are your thought on that aspect. I'll try the takoon wings to see what they give. interesting to watch your reviews. keep up the work ! Hadou
