Don't throw away the seeds, because you can boiled it with salts & sugar in about 30 minutes or so and it can be good snack, and any leftovers skin and everything crush it feed it to livestock so nothing wasted...

It is difficult to say with any certainty if you would get any fruit growing a jakfruit tree in a greenhouse. It may need more light than you can give it at your latitude to flower. As far as temps go, we get into the low 30's just about every winter, and even, a freeze.
To find out for sure, give it a try! Since it is a tropical tree, keep it as hot as you can get it, even in the summer. It will love a long summer in the 90's. Give it the biggest pot you have. Good luck! Keep us posted!

Hi! Sure, you can store fresh jakfruit in glass jars, but keep them in the refrigerator! They will mold siting on the shelf. The chilled fruit should be OK for about a week or so before it may start to go bad. Just check for any off odors before you eat the jakfruit after it has been stored a while. Enjoy!

The 9-12' height is more of a decision for harvesting convenience for the commercial grower. Any higher than 12' and it becomes difficult to get the fruit off the tree without a lift. Though remember that the jakfruit can be pretty heavy, so keep your tree at a height that is convenient to harvest.

Hi Sir, how are you, I hope you are doing WELL?.... Sir, this is my first time in life that I have heard from you and watched your video of Jackfruits cultivation in Florida, I am very very delighted and very happy to hear that Florida's climate can produce these kind of fruits, in Florida's climate can grow Jackfruits, if Jackfruits can grown in Florida, that means any type of Eastern Asian fruits can be grown there, it is a very delicious Jackfruit when it's tree ripen, when I see fruits video's on UA-cam I always watch it, actually, Sir please don't mind I have to say a simple thing about cutting or opening the Jackfruits you aren't supposed to cut the Jackfruits like this (the way you have been cutting it) Sir, you're supposed to cut the outer skin gently and lightly with any type of sharp tools, at the same time while cutting the outer skin you're taking care of the flesh not to cut while cutting the outer skins of the Jackfruits!?.... By the way the Jackfruits middle Core is very nutritious vegetables, can be used as vegetable cutting into small pieces and boiling it down to get tender and then cook with fish, chicken, and all types red meat or muttons, and the seeds are also nutritious too it can be roasted or boiling down to tender and eaten also can be used in fish, chicken, all types of red meat or muttons. THE JACKFRUIT IS REALLY HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS TOO, WHY WASTED, ACTUALLY WHEN IT COMES TO FRUITS CLASS OF CATEGORIES THERE IS ALWAYS A "KING" THE "JACKFRUITS IS A KING FRUIT" OF ALL FRUITS!?..... ((("💖")))(((From the people's of wisdom)))(((30/06/2020)))(((UK)))

From County Extension agent Adrian Huntsberger: Jackfruit seeds are tasty a treat. They should be boiled or roasted to bring out their flavor and make them digestible. The seeds are a source of small amounts of calcium, phosphorus and a tiny amount of iron. But are good sources of vitamins B1 and B2. They are high in starch. For 100 grams of seeds, the fat content is 0.4 grams.

Dear Tropical Fruit Growers, I love the ripe jackfruit on the tree, and the way it peels easily. I wish you would talk about ripeness of the jackfruit, since this I believe is associated with the latex. I bought a piece the other day, and the latex stuck on the hands and every area it touched, including my phone, was the hardest to get off. So, I bought a whole jackfruit a couple of days ago, with the idea to learn more about this latex thing, and how to eat it without the trouble of the latex. What I have seen in one video here is that the latex disappears as the fruit ripens. But I think this fruit is still exotic in the US and people don't know much about it, and that is why there is very little knowledge about it. But since you grow it, maybe you know all about it, and tell us how to avoid the latex. Thank you

All these south florida tropical fruits on this channel , are all GMOs. Anybody who has lived or been in tropical countries where these things grow easily will noticed that all the trees are pretty tall/high and must be climbed to harvest, while the ones here in florida seemed premature or dwarfed and yet produce bulky fruits anyways.

MORE...Avoid eating raw seeds since they are indigestible.
I did not find any information on feeding seeds to livestock. (the leaves are fed to cattle in some areas in the tropics.) So a few seeds could be cooked and ground to see if the chickens are interested in eating them.
