Owner must’ve grown up in the 80’s. All the art is the cartoons I used to watch as a kid. I vividly remember watching UP all night with Elvira. These machines were EVERYWHERE in the 80’s. Gas stations, laundromat’s, convenience stores and every restaurant had at least a couple tucked in a dark corner somewhere. Awesome stroll down memory lane
The art on the walls are absolutely beautiful. I’d love to deck out my arcade with that caliber of art. That Batman former cabinet is awesome. I don’t think I’ve ever run into one in the wild.
I appreciate you sharing this. I'll have to go when I'm not sick. Kinda shocked to see Vampire Hunter 2 and not Vampire Savior, but I'd go straight to that.
@@MrSamiam08 I was blown away with the custom artwork that was top to bottom covering the place. So much great art on display of just about every pop culture icon one could think of!
This is exactly what I was looking for as I'm the artist who did the string art in Florida and now working it out to to come weave my magic over there. This gives me a great idea of the layout and obstacles.
Wow, what an amazing looking place! Whoever did all the art is super talented! Allot of odd and rare games and it looked like they were going with Premium and LE pins! I need one of those t-shirts too! Thanks fir sharing Doug that looks like a destination arcade to add to the bucket list for sure!
@@TiltingT yeah they definitely weren’t stingy with putting out the good stuff! Machines could have used some better leveling and adjustments but considering they opened kinda last minute with short notice from the city I can understand them still having some rough edges on opening day.
Very respectable collection. All the same pinball machines we have in Santa Maria. I'll definitely pop in around September and have a pint at The Field. Looking forward to it!
Awesome place to go to kill time in downtown! Only $25 for unlimited play. I was stuck playing Black Emperor for an hour trying to get the high score!!! 😂
@@The_Garage_Gamer it’s on my list of places to visit, I’ve seen lots of videos of the place and I’ve always been amazed. I’ve never been to the northwest either so it would give me a good excuse to travel that way 👍

Oh woooow, AM has a San Diego location! 😮 I had no idea! I'm from Orlando area, I used to go to their original Oviedo location pretty regularly but we now have such a complete home arcade (and also the owner was kind of a Dick Grayson) that we just sort of stopped going right before lockdown
Probably the Halo lightgun game, never heard of it before and no idea what it is so I'd have to have a go 👍. 2nd machine I'd go for would have to be Zoltar, we just don't see them in the UK ☹️.
@@Rob.Coleman I also had never seen the Halo game in person, played it, fun game. Zoltar was a must for me too, grabbed a fortune ticket on my way out the door
Horrible vibes location being downtown San Diego. I hate going downtown and having to deal with driving around there and parking. But from a standpoint of foot traffic I understand having it there. But I prefer a much more chill atmosphere so I tend to stay away from downtown locations. San Diego actually doesn’t have a lot of good pinball locations and the ones with a lot of machines are in crowded places like in downtown.
Decently close to the Gaslamp trolley station but yeah, I'd rather it be in say, the Mission Bay/Sea World area or something. Or perhaps Liberty Station
Google the name and "art work murals". Theres a really good article on the graffiti artists and their work and how it all came about at the different locations. And I found some videos of them spraying etc. I'd love to have a bench like that too. So much goodness.
Lmao I walked into the place to check it out. saw the first floor that you need to up stairs to get to and thought that was it. walked out because I saw the custom arcades of sailor moon and sf4 and thought that was gonna be it. Never saw the viewlix's and astros
Do not let Nintendo see that smash bros set up lol we had a retro cafe in our town and big n sent a real strong case and desist. They had to stop doing gaming nights and remove all playable Nintendo options. Real sad as we use to meet for drinks food and smash bros / Mario kart. @@eldenringer6466 yeah Nintendo doesn’t mess around. I remember seeing the news of them shutting down several fight game tournaments over issues they had with Smash Bros. Quite sad
What is the first game you would play once you walked in? Let me know in the comments below.
all of them..all at once..not sure how but it be fun trying!
Street fighter 3s
Turtles Arcade
Batman 66
Tron. I haven't played that game in ages!!!
