Find Your RED DEER ZONES & GREAT ONE in CUATRO!!! - July 2022 Update - Call of the Wild

- Cuatro Colinas had it's population reset as part of the June 28, 2022 update in The Hunter Call of the Wild! Their drink time did not change. They drink from 6-10:30 in Cuatro (and on every map that has Red Deer) but their zone locations have DEFINITELY changed! Today's video includes tips for finding ALL of your Red Deer drink zones, tips for setting up and for efficiently grinding Red Deer that will hopefully put a Great One Red Deer in your lodge! Included is a detailed zone guide - showing all of my current Red Deer drink zones. Your zones will not be exactly the same but they definitely should be similar! If you scan all of the water ways and dont find all the zones, why would that be? I've done white tail on Revontuli. Red deer on Te Awaroa and Cuatro. But I usually end up with 45 zones. To hear there are 15-20 more zones blows my mind
I shot my third GO Red Deer on Te Awaroa the other day and its my biggest at 265.4 but I've always wanted to get a GO Red Deer from each map with red deer I've gotten one from Cuatro my first my second on a multiplayer Parque and the third one Te now I need to get one on Hirschfeldon. Wish me luck

I will ssy this, at 9:50 and 9:55 the 2 lakes you showed in that time I got 2-3 zones at the first one and 1 zone at the second 1. So its worth checking those and that first one has a lot of big stags for me
I know this is a new comment compared to when this video was posted, but just in case you see this question I would be eternally grateful. Why would our maps and need zones be different from yours? Do you have a special map or a different version we are not privy to? Thanks.
What it means is that you'll get deer zones where she went, BUT the water zones may not be in the exact same spot at that lake on your map as compared to hers. Either way though, they'll still be there but the actually water droplet picture may be placed around said lake slightly different from hers. But the deer will be there period.
White tail is my favorite to grid for but I love how red deer great one looks. I still don’t have any great one and I hope I find any of those two and a fallow too

To find the Great One you have to shoot males in one place and time all the time? Is it possible to change locations / lakes in the same hours of drinking them 6-10:30? By changing the location, does the result of the previously hunted deer add up or cancel when we go to the second lake / location? How many of these deer do you have to hunt for the whole great one to appear? I killed a lot of deer, a dozen or so diamonds, mythical and nothing appears :( I hunt during their watering hours and nothing....
I have one great one. A typical rack mocha. My favorite map for great ones is probaly new zealand. Im going to choose quatro for hm becauase i think the zones are distributed perfect for hm.

Once again an absolutely great video that I will utilize. I do have a question for you... unfortunately I am playing on a PS4 and I am finding that when I aim at animals they have a tendency of jumping 5 ft this way or 10 ft that way which makes aiming even more difficult than it already is. Do you have any issues like this on the PC?
Yes it's happening on all platforms unfortunately! My Black Bear Great One did that right before I shot him! Can you imagine if I messed him up because of that!?!
No great ones yet but I’m enjoying switching between Red deer and BB. So far with my red deer I’m almost 800 kills with 10 diamonds 7 trolls and 5 rares. I’m doing herd management which seems to work well with red deer so we will see hopefully I’ll get my red deer under 1,000 kills.

I missed the 303 and I think I might like it a bit more. I actually used the 30-06 today. I think I'm going to mix it up more!

Hello there Lady Legend 🤗 I want to ask you a question. Do kills on different maps have a influence on each other? Yesterday I started my first (after the reset) hunt on Rancho del Arroyo. I found an initial spawn piebald Whitetail Deer male in one heard and piebald female in another. I couldn't resist and took those two ☺️ Right after that I came back to Revontuli where I do my Whitetail/ Moose grind. What did I found? Two piebald Whitetail males in two different zones. This might be a coincidence, but it got me thinking whether or not, rares killed on one map respawn on another. How do you reckon? Cheers!
Not that I know of but maybe you're onto something! That's exciting!
Spent a couple days scouting for red deer zones, uncovered about 2/3 of the map and only found 4 red deer drink zones. I've found about 45 drink zones total but only 4 are red deer.
Update a couple hours later... I got off the 4 wheeler and walked same lake I searched before. The red deer drinking zones appeared, even got a mythical. Not sure what's going on.
My favorite great one is the red deer I have 2 great ones so far 1 red deer and a whitetail

Have they patched the game for all the crashes amd stuff yet? Srp Te CC and revontuli were issue maps. I haven't seen anything from them showing the patch.
They put out a crashing hotfix last week!
@@LadyLegendXO I'll give srp or te a go again then. I asked because rev crashed on me last night retrieving my 3rd of 4 whitetails. Needless to say I lost the 3 and 4. I've been avoiding the crash maps because if I lost a diamond or GO I'd probably break stuff 🙃

Has anyone had the problem where trying to spot a need zone and you can clearly see it had two different tracks but only says it has one animal there? Is this just a glitch or am I searching them wrong??😭
That's because there's a solo zone sharing a drink zone there.

Hi LadyLegend, thanks for this guide of red deer in cuatro colinas i only have a great one black bear i'm doing my red deer grind in te awaroa i'm 240 kills into it i have 2 diamonds 1 troll and 3 rares melanistic piebald and albino and i have 2 lvl 9s on my map right now recently my game has been freezing is something going on in the game like that right now

I’m just tryna play casually and kill a go but I ain’t killed any after 2 years having the game but it is cause I have school
I walked around the entire first lake and found only ibex zones
i only hunt on revontuli coast because these map is the best with te awaroa
I have 0 Great ones im grinding black bear and red deer rn hopefully I will get a great one in the next 6 months lol. Im a slow grinder

The game only keeps track of total harvests.
It's hard to grind for a great one but I'm going for a red dear for fun

Lady legend you are a super star copied all your tips but on te awaroa haven’t had a great one yet but got some great spawns 700 kills 7 diamonds 5 rares and just spawned a level 9 melanistic I’d rather that than a great one
