17:07 It seems there is not a standard naming convention for soldering iron tips, but for this I would choose a small chisel tip to get the most surface area contact between the soldering iron tip and the leg and pad. At least what JBC considers to be a chisel tip, with both sides of the iron beveled, and a flat front. I believe the flat front is the key here, and they have both thick and thin versions. Not sure what the size of the pad is here, but I often use either 0.8mm or 1.2mm chisel tips for through-hole work. I only use beveled tips for SMD work (at least what JBC considers the bevel type, with only one flat beveled side).
That's a nice looking A1200, I hope to see the bids roll in for that one. Very much looking forwards to the big day. I've even cleaned my dinning room so it does not look bad on camera.

I would get random read errors that didn’t happen when the PiStorm wasn’t attached. Never got to the bottom of it, sadly.
Such a beautiful and truly amazing looking machine, just wondering if your keyboards "Caps Lock" LED lights up with it being plugged into the Keyrah board though. I have my A1200 "FrakenPi" all built inside one of A1200.Net's reproduction A1200 cases where i have a Keyrah V2 and an original A1200 keyboard. My "Caps Lock" works when typing BUT the tiny LED doesn't light up. Just wondering if mine might have a blown LED diode for the "Caps Lock". Please let me know if yours does or doesn't light up if possible. Thanks so much Lee :)
I didn't notice when testing, and sadly the whole lot is now boxed up ready to send, so I'll not be able to test for you. I'll try to remember to ask it's new owner if they can test that

Aluminium tape. I had a bad experience with kapton when recapping an a600 and melted the audio ports plastic despite using multiple layers of kapton. I was quite shocked. Have had much better results with aluminium tape.
