CEX CHALLENGE - BARGAIN Games for £20 !!!

- GREAT game additions to the collection all for under £20 !!! In this latest CEX Challenge... Join me OGDuffy as I take on my £20 CEX Challenge and the rules are very simple...
Three simple rules apply when I take on one of my CEX challenges:
1 - Stay within budget...
2 - No doubles, do not buy any games I already own...
3 - No sports titles, unless its a boxing game...
Join me as I visit the local CEX and see what unique and fun looking bargain retro video games can be had with a budget of just £20!
I search the shelves of CEX for this retro bargains and add great games for the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii...

Motor Storm is my go to favourite on the PS3
Especially when played in 3D, on a compatible TV of course.

Great video! Anubis II is a reskin of Ninjabread Man. Ninjabread Man originally started out as a revival of the Amiga series Zool. The game got countless rereleases that are only reskins of the exact same game with the same animations, controls, enemies, and much more. The only changes are the level designs and textures.

I spotted Hitman and Max Payne 3 in the cex-section of the video. If you don't own any of them you should definitely pick them up. Both are great games.

Hello OG - That Xbox controller is the Elite series 2. It has a completely different Dpad. Removeable sticks (with different swappable parts), Metal triggers on the back, Rubberized grips etc etc. Its basically a customisable controller. Has its own carry case blah blah. Not worth the price for mine (they are know to have drift issues) - but are very popular in the competitive FPS scene!
OK and thanks for the information... Don't think I will ever be good enough to play FPS competitively 😉 Think I will stick with my standard controller 😎
I was once a huge PS3 collector, and personally if I were to recommend you one game, something you might not be aware of it would definitely be Binary Domain. The trailer alone is legendary 👍

Thumbs up for Watchdogs from me. It does have a few repetitive bits, but i really enjoyed it and worth exploring as the game opens up. Watchdogs 2 is worth a pick up too.

Paignton is where I went to see the retro shop of which now is turning into a bicycle shop..such a shame.
I still very much enjoy visiting Paignton after all this was where in my late teens I first came across 2 large amusement arcades and now in 2024 they have 3

PASS. I'd change no sports games to no FIFAs as there are some great games out there you may miss otherwise. Great video mate

F1 Race Stars is an ace little game. 👍 They made an ios version back in the day and that was good too. Doesn't work on modern iPads etc now though

@@OGDuffy You'll find that the online stuff isn't available any more but the base game will keep you busy. It is almost as frustrating as Mario Kart at some points and I say frustrating in the sense of "Ah man, I should've won that race if it wasn't for the last minute red shell equivalent!"
I thought you were pushing your luck saying Tony Hawks wasn’t a sports game but the F1 game definitely is. Just got a PS3 off a mate so looking forward to starting my collection. Great video as always OG!

I have been over to Paignton in Devon today to visit my mate.
We popped into 5 charity shops only 2 had games
Your favourite 19. Fifa games and that was all I just roared with laughter, however so pleased to find games in charity shops at last..had a lovely day out...cheers matey

Pure for PS3 is a pretty decent racing game. You can customise your ATV a lot and there's plenty of stunts to do too. Oh and Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 has a single player offline too, it's not online only. Hope that helps 👍

I'd say the kart game isn't a sports title but the tony hawk is .
Watchdogs great game if you can spend some hours with it .

A heads up about that telltale game of thrones game. U know only episode 1 comes on the disc? I have it on the 360 and it wont download the other episodes. It comes there is a problem with the download type and wont download. I think they might have pulled the servers to download the other episodes but i dont know for sure or if its my xbox. If i was you i try andget the episodes sooner rather than later.
Probably the servers are down now matey... Quite an old game now so would imagine thats the case. As you say a shame as you get so far and cant go on!

I'd call that a pass, racing game are a separate sub genre to generic sport titles going back to the 80's. Tony Hawks could be classed as a simulation title? :) But there was a double Stella. :D

Is Half Life 2 Orange Box on PS3??? I know it is on 360 and PC... Well worth a punt if it is and you don't have it.

I wouldn't consider Tony Hawks or F1 Race Stars to be considered sports titled. Because they are exaggerated arcade style games. It's only when games become a type of sport simulation, that they can be considered sports titles.
Good point matey... Maybe I need to amend my rules for the CEX Challenge 😎
Wonder if you could change the rules so you can't buy "realistic" or "simulation" sports games? Plenty of leeway there. and if it looks like you've broken the rules we can always bring in VAR.

The angry video game nerd did a review on the Goonies, it's very confusing as you have to find items and click around in the rooms and it's easy to get lost.

I tried ordering th shred with board from cex paid for said was sent out was take off their online stock list then told me wasn't available refunded and they put it back on the online stock list!!
Had that happen a few times to me especially with WiiU titles......
Hi there once again OG, So sorry to say this but i think you failed and at least tony hawk is a sports title 🙈 i'm Actually loving the ps2, i'm not collecting a big collection on it, just the games i love to play and trying to find few More gems to play on it. As a Super silent hill fan, as i May have mentioned before is the biggest reason i Will never get rid if of my ps2 😁 i have at least 4 ps2 consoles, but the problem In the future Will be, that Will i have a tv to play them with 🤔 Should buy the ps3 that plays ps2 games, but here in Finland at least they are rare and very high on price 😵 And finally, i wish so much that Tyson Will KO the s..t out of paul, i really dislike that man but i think age and the big gloves they Will be using, Will be the key for pauls win 😶 Take care and see you in the next one 🍺🍻😎💪🤘👊
Yep I took a gamble on this one and tried my luck !! All good fun though 😉🍺 As for the Tyson Jake Paul fight I keep hearing different stories relating to the rules so really no idea what they are... We will have to wait and see. Like yourself I am hoping we see a Mike Tyson win 😉

Sorry OG but Skateboarding is a sport these days, I'm a OG skater when it wasn't but now it's in the Olympics plus X Games for years.

skateboarding and snowboarding is kinda a sport, but the only 1 i dont rally dsee as a sport but more a race.
