- Learn how to draw with one point perspective. Use linear perspective to create the illusion of space in your drawings. A horizon line is defined and then one point is placed on the horizon line. Lines are drawn back to the vanishing point to create 3D forms.

One of the best videos I've seen on this subject on UA-cam. Concise and easy to follow, but the big plus is the speaker and how he articulated everything without cracking jokes or making the umms and ahs sounds between words.
U ARE A DUUMY FOR LIKEING DIS PEICEOFN CRAP

Hi. Thank you for your amazing video of perspective. I just started to paint and always had a perspective problem but after watching your video I think I have a good understanding of that. But I still am confused about the scale of a shape in the painting. For example, how am I supposed to know the size of the ship is right in a seascape painting? Please educate me. Thanks
This Has Helped Me Alot!! Thanks For This!
Wow, thank you for making it so Clear and simple.
The lyrics isn't showing up on my screen for some reason, so I'll just put it down here :)
Dancing in my underpants
I'm gonna run for government
I'm gonna form a covers band and all
And back there by the baby grand
Did Mr. Winter Wonderland say
"Come here, kid, we really need to talk"?
Bear with me, man, I lost my train of thought
I fantasize, I call it quits
I swim with the economists
And I get to the bottom of it for good
By the time reality hits
The chimes of freedom fell to bits
The shining city on the fritz
They come out of the cracks
Thirsty for blood
Just as the apocalypse finally gets prioritized
And you cried some of the hottest tears you ever cried
Multiplied by five
I suppose the singer must die
Singsong 'round the money tree
This stunning documentary
That no one else unfortunately saw
Such beautiful photography
It's worth it for the opening scene
I've been driving 'round listening to the score
Or maybe, I just imagined it all
I've played to quiet rooms like this before
Bear with me, man, I lost my train of thought
sorry what
@@polina6463 One Point Perspective is the name of a song by the Arctic Monkeys. Those are the lyrics. It’s a great song, you should check it out.
I mean, they’re a fantastic band, you should check out more of their stuff than just One Point Perspective if you’re so inclined.
@@KusagariBlues bro that's a great joke

I am looking for a course that will cover all the basics of drawing - perspective, form, depth, tone etc. Which of your courses would be best in that regard? I am not that interested in drawing portraits, but most other things, landscapes, still life, animals etc.
thanks! i have a compitition coming up and the drawing is comples but understanding the basics helped me! i hope ill win..
So cool! I really appreciate it I will use this with my third grade class!

Ohh My God That's help me alot Thank U Sir 🤗🤗🤗
What drawing program are you working in?
Very helpful! Thanks
Once you get used to one point perspective, it's kind of addicting to just get lost drawing a ton of 3d cubes.
lol
9 years from now and still perfect guidance
What app is that and what texture/brush did u use for the trees?
hi ,could i know the name of the program you're using to draw?
Hey bro,thanks a lot!very interesting tutorial,i'm pratice now and later.A huge from Brazil =))

this vid helped so much
Thank you so so much sir you have really helped me 😊
Thank you soo much. it was very helpful!
Soooo super helpful! I would have failed my art project if it weren't for you!
Same thing man, I almost made my mum explode in total anger and keep me from using a single gadget until I can figure out how to draw a One Point Perspective (and yes, my mom is that cruel ;-;). Coz we were doin' discussing and then the teacher gave us this assignment. to draw a one point perspective drawing, I had NO freakin' clue on what to do but my friend recommended me to watch this tutorial and it worked!!!! sad thing is I got a B+ but it was more than enough to make my mum proud.
Can you do more acrylic painting tutorials please?
Very helpful 👍👍👍
Awesome tutorial thankyou very much
Great video!
Thank you sir you made this very easy .
What determines wether to use one or two point prespective
Is there anyway to calculate by how much the lines get closer and closer the you get to the vanishing point which indicates you are actually further away? For example if I am drawing brick flooring or panels by how much do these panels get thinner?
I still don't understand how to draw the smaller square 😭
Please tell me what is the app you are using to draw
but, the square i made after joining the lines to the vanishing point isnt symmetric. why?
Tell me please which app you are using to draw there
Excellent.
this is amazing!!!!
So well explained!!!!!
Thanks a lot sir
Amazing 👍👍👍
Thank you.
What did he use for drawing???
Thanks it helped a lot
I have a doubt that I am doing, when I make the 2nd box based on the lines of the 1st box, it does not add up, the lines move a little to the left or right and I already did it in digital and it still happens to me why?
Very helpful thank you
Thank you. I'll think more on enrolling in your classes, but for me to have produced what I did here, with your guidance is a miracle. I've always had a very deep desire/need to draw, sketch, paint, but I don't have that right side of the brain "thingy" going on. Trying to develop it. Thank you for your precise but simple guidance. I will be doing this over and over and over again.
