When I started learning chess, as usual, everyone recommended e4 openings. I wanted to be contrarian, so I started playing d4 openings. From there, I found Liren, who is now my favorite player!
Hi Jerry, I've been following your content for some time now and it's astounding, overwhelming, all the effort and emotion you share in every video. With today's video I can't even express the whole gratitude I'm feeling for your zealous chess analyses. Keep rockin' :)
I guess you can't say Inarkiev didn't fight brave until the bitter end. I wish we could know what his plans were to win or hold a draw, but to keep on playing in this struggle shows a good sportsman. At least in my eyes.
Yesterday I watched one video on Nakamura's channel. It was terrible experience. He is awful poor chess educator and rather clown personality 🤡. His audience is clownish and trollish as well. Jerry's channel is the best on youtube and the chess here is pure delight

If a game is worth presenting it should NOT be an instrument for teaching chess. A good game CANNOT be enjoyed. Its progress is FOREVER being interrupted. I am going somewhere else.
“When a knight has a nightmare…” a great way to teach that lesson! Thank you for the great video.
Ding has always been one of my favorite d4 players. Great choice!

👍 I think this is one of his best games.
This is a beauty. Hopefully this version of ding will return to the world championship
Games like these restore my faith and confidence in Ding for the upcoming world championship.

Great to hear. I think it’s one of Ding’s best games. 👍
Great presentation; thank you for sharing.
I do watch quite a few others but always end up here. You and your work is going from strength to strength, in my humble opinion 😊
Thank you Nathan. 👍
Hey Jerry. Love the daily videos. Can't wait for more 2 or 3 hour tournament videos 🙏🏼😊
Every other day. 😎 Thank you for watching. 👍

This was a deep one there was way more than a thing or two to take away from it, got me hyped for the world championship this year!!

Great to read that. Thank you for the compliment and for your years of support. 👍
Really great analysis as always, so instructive and enjoyable. Thanks Jerry
Great video Jerry! I often end up playing the Carlsbad as white. Can't wait to try that f3 pawn push (after properly preparing the defence of e3...)
Me too💪

Hey Jerry! Thanks for high quality content. Will you ever continue doing chess variant videos such as 3-check?
Will see. It has been awhile. 😎
I forgot how beautiful chess can be.

21:43 How nice of Liren to complete Inarkiev's stable with his own horse
Good Game thanks Jerry 😊♟️👍💯

Thanks for the high quality analysis!

For a good while (around 2017 or so); Ding had the best middle game, even before Magnus, IMHO
Hey Jerry. Appreciating all the regular content! Have you found that all this "instructive" chess play and moves has improved your own play?
His lichess rapid rating is 2700+ and his blitz rating is almost 2800. What do you think?
usually i dont watch them if they are longer than 20 min but i gots the mania - Jerry been killin it lately (for my tastes)
Hi Jerry, why dont u upload blitz tournaments anymore? The Lichess 1 hour long i mean

Huh?
This comment reads like a speech-to-text transcription of a late stage Alzheimer's patient.
You make zero sense...
We will probably never know what that meant, even if he explains it.
