The answer is always to make up for the lack of skill by riding more and riding in your comfort zone until you get more confident.

Hey Micah, so are you saying that you simply slow down and stay in your comfort zone until you get more confident? Thanks for watching!

@@MotocrossHideout yeah my comfort zone is like my baseline and as I ride more I am challenged by the trail or by situations I come across. The more I ride the more that baseline goes up. Sometimes I learn by accident and unlock new things, sometimes have accidents which makes me look for new strategies to apply.

@@micahnuckols5046 Gotcha, thanks for sharing! So how exactly do you look for new strategies?

@@MotocrossHideout remember what I did last time that did not work lol or I will look up simple concepts that I feel like I can improve on or don't feel like I understand. Sometimes I try one thing during a riding session to see how it works then try something different the next. Just small things like body position or trying to relax when I know I tense up. Sometimes I just visualize how I want to move down the trails. If it works, it feels good.

True, some days when you’re out riding , everything falls together and you see the big picture ahead and it’s perfect. Then , the next time you ride you can lose focus and do the bad things you’re talking about. Definitely need seat time and slow down And get back to basics. Confidence comes with practice
