Thank you Jack - that is a very complete overall review of the 15 Pro and Pro Max. I think one of the biggest benefits of LOG shooting is the removal of Apple’s notorious over- sharpening. I hope you’ll spend a bit more time addressing that issue in a later video. 👍🏻

Great video, @JCKRGB. You have such fantastic channel and that new intro was really slick! I’m finally going back to Apple after a long time with Samsung but I’m really worried about the issues I’ve been seeing online with the new 15 Pro Max: Apple throttling A17 Pro performance with an update after reports of the phone getting hot, random battery drain of a few %, the phone getting hot at random times, and the screen burn-in. Have you experienced any of these issues with your 15 Pro Max? Thanks again for all the great content!
Just as a follow up, how do you like the voice to text on the 15 Pro Max? I have an iPad Air 5 for a tablet and a Galaxy S9 for my phone and the voice to text is just so much better on my phone versus my tablet. It’s actually frustrating how much I have to correct voice to text on the iPad versus my phone. Does Siri still lag behind Google Assistant? Thanks again, cheers!
I switched to GBoard and the on screen keyboard is worse than the native one but voice to text so much better!
Thanks so much! Glad you like the intro! I've not had any issues with my 15 Pro Max so far. No overheating or throttling. No unusual battery drain or screen burn in.. I've had a couple crashes that restarted the phone but I'm running iOS 17.1 Beta which is probably why!
To be honest I don't use the Siri Dictation that much, but I have found it's gotten better the last couple years with iOS 16 and 17 (it's better at recognising questions, adding punctuation, and just being more accurate with understanding me and my accent haha)
Not tried GBoard in a very long time, I use the default keyboard. I've been using the Slide to Type feature a lot lately! Thanks for watching! ✌🏻

I don’t have any Moment T-Series lenses yet, but I will be trying out some mobile lenses on iPhone 15 soon! Just waiting on some cases. The good news is there aren’t any major changes with the iPhone 15 cameras so hopefully everything should work just as well as with the 14! ✌🏻

No way to toggle off the PIP as far as I can tell.
And no, not done anything with 3D images before! Although Apple also announced the 15 Pro’s will get an update to take spatial photos and videos for their upcoming Apple Vision Headset 👀

Getting the iPhone 15 Pro Max from work, upgrading from the 12 Pro Max. I don’t need a new phone but since work will pay for the phone Ima take it YEP

Something I want to point out that everyone seems to get wrong (and i heard it wrong here too). It isn't the port that was slow they could've increased the speed whenever they chose not to. You even touched on the fact that only the Pro models are faster the other ones are still USB 2 speed even with a USBC connector. The port is only a port has nothing to do with the protocol they use. I actually like the lightning connector better because there isn't anything in the middle of the port to break like USB although I am happy they finally went to a standard. This was a great video and this comment isn't meant to hate on you just wanted to point that out
Definitely! Apple even gave the 1st and 2nd gen iPad Pro’s USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5Gbps) and they both used Lightning.
But they never brought this the iPhone for some reason..
Lightning was amazing when they first introduced it, way better designed than Mini and Micro USB which a lot of tech used at the time.
But also glad they moved to the C port, just far easier to have one cable connector for everything on both ends. Let’s see how long for, I think ultimately they want to go port-less in a few years..

I upgrades from the Samsung S8 to the S23 ultra. I was considering going back to iphone, but at the time the battery life was getting too bad and unsafe. So had to get it replaced asap. But I had an Iphone 5 before android. I did enjoy it, but transfering media in general was so annoying. But now that Iphone has USB-C, i would have considered the 15 (or pro) as an upgrade instead.

Very good detailed review, but please, why do you have to refer to the lenses as something 'X'? You know that it actually stands for the multiplication symvbol, so it's 5 times lens etc... You're not the only reviewer guilty of this, but it does tend to grate eventually.

Why are people so excited for a titanium case?
It's literally more expensive and worse at the same time. It scratches more easily than steel (I wonder why there's no shiny finish this time) and is less flexible, which was proven fatal for the back glass because it can't absorb as much force. Also the amount of grade 5 titanium in that case is worth about 50$. I wouldn't pay 50$ extra to literally have a less durable product.
As someone who uses cases 100% of the time, I’m just happy with noticeable weight savings. After seeing the phone bend and survive in the consumer reviews machine, I’m not concerned with durability. Don’t care about the hype either. But I didn’t like the polished finish of previous phones either, it was annoying every time I had to switch the case.
I don't buy for to limit never 80%
