- We have been watching this thing for the last few years and finally decided to check it out! what a unique piece of s10 history! possibly 1 of 5 produced by the conversion company. 20' long and 7' tall has to be a rare thing to see!

its like someone grafted a g20 conversion van onto the back of a dime. if it was me i would v8 swap it and some big wide rolling stock under it. it would be cool as hell to use as a camper/tow vehicle to go to car shows and glamping with

That thing has to be unimaginably slow with the 2.8. It's super cool. Throw some Detroit Steel wheels on it and bags, and you got a comfy cruiser. I think a set of gold wires would suit the paint really well, but rear fitment is gonna be the tough part.

Wow those are pretty rare, this one is beautiful, I sure wish I could have kept all my S10's, can't believe how clean this one is! Would be be pretty cool to put a V8 in there with an overdrive and cruise control.

I stumbled across your channel, I hope you enjoyed Wisconsin. I live in central Wisconsin. My dad bought a big converted Dodge van when I was kid. It was painted in the same colors as that S10. I wonder if the S10 and van came from the same place. 😂

Wow yeah I like that alot . I would definitely add on some things like a new radio with a backup camera things like that because it being so huge and long . Then other small stuff here and there and I'll say that's nuts that poor 2.8 struggling for life that being so heavy I wonder how much it weighs lol . That should have at least a good 350 small block with some minor mods to it so I can actually pull that weight I love my 2.8s but I know its struggling with that and delete the smog pump in the missions and all those vacuum lines and bullcrap and it will pick up a bit but still I love everything about it tho .
Call it the Shag wagon S10 , red carpet would look good in it too
I'm gonna do as much searching as I can first. I think I'll keep a cassette deck of the correct Era. But a back up cam would be very wise. I'm thinking in the mirror.

my S-10 I don’t know what it does. It burns antifreeze I guess because I have zero leaks. My oil is absolutely perfect but about every 4000 miles I have to put a half a gallon of coolant in it and what you’re describing with the temperature going up and down and fluctuating is exactly what I see in my truck when I realize that it’s starting to get low enough that I need to top it off again so I bet the heat issues are low coolant.
Have you checked the passenger side floor. It will absorb alot of liquid before you realize the heater core is toast
@@HardCoreGarage yes, I could smell it when the core went bad. It's been replaced. Did it before and still does it after. But thanks for the pointer.
Check the radiator cap. When my 84 was doing that, it was a bad seal on my cap. It was such a small intermittent problem that it never leaked on the ground. I replaced the cap, and coolant stopped vanishing.

Check with your local parts stores to see if you can borrow a pressure tester. You could have a pinhole in a hose or a loose clamp also. I had an explorer that occasionally leaked coolant, so i borrowed a pressure tester from autozone. It turned out to be a loose clamp on an intake hose. I would have never found it without the pressure tester.
Slap some gold Dayton's on that monster.

@@HardCoreGarage it is an yeah I wouldn't either I was just going to live in it the way it is that's way it'd gave me time to get all the rust hole/ air holes fix among other things to the 84 dodge van that has the front half that's been cut off before I got it...I traded a 67 camper to it bout 5 years ago now
