So he works at it to try and win her over, but it won't work. the singer says take what you want from me, aka the marbles. the marbles represent everything the man that has done plus will to do for her but the marbles are going down the drain. I think the small marbles represent DNA, which would make sense because they're breaking eachother down as much as possible.
