Hello, thanks a lot for this very good video. I’m thinking of buying a Naim HE to replace my streaming set up (a Bluesound Node 2i and Chord Qutest DAC) and my headphone amp (Lehmann Audio Linear). I want to use the Naim both as a stand alone component but also as part of my current system (which includes a Rega Elicit amp, Rega Apollo CD player, Rega Planar 3 turntable and Spica TC 60 speakers). Do you think the Naim would be an upgrade to my current streaming and headphone set up? Kind regards, Ignacio
You're welcome, Ignicio. Sounds like you have a top notch setup so far! What are you hoping to improve by moving to the Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition?
@@crutchfield Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. I think that with the Naim I would improve my streaming set up and certainly my headphone amp. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my current system but I understand the Naim would take it a step further. Regards, Ignacio
Naim is hard to beat for high res streaming support and you should hear a noticeable improvement via the headphones using this amp as well. Keep us posted.
Thanks a lot for all your advice, much appreciated.I take it the Naim can be used as a regular headphone amp, connecting it to an amplifier and selecting the source to listen: CD player, turntable or streaming. Kind regards, Ignacio
This unit does not support those services but it does have audio inputs so you could connect an apple device that can stream their lossless audio and make use of the headphone amp stage
I have one of these and I love it. ♥️
Excellent choice! Happy listening!

Does it Supports Apple and Amazon Highness ?

Unfortunately, it's not suitable for desktop use due to transformer humming.
Yeah, right!Especially when you listen through your headphone!!!
Must be faulty, no humming coming from mine
is there is a tone control
This unit does not have tone controls
@@crutchfield thanks
You're welcome! Let us know when we can help again
No tone controls is very disappointing.
No speaker output?
Correct. However, you can use the balanced or unbalanced preamp outputs for connecting the unit to an external power amplifier or powered speakers.
It’s a headphone amp.
It’s a tragedy seeing spotify being streamed on this thing.
why that?
