me too !
71 years and a few months. Always good to hear this!
Yiu have good taste, not that SH-T, people call Rap or Hip-Hop.
I am 73 and had it played 8 times at my wedding. Great
I was a baby boomer born in the 50s brought up on music like this what a great time to be alive
MIX in stereo (likely genuine made in Detroit from original 3 track) is truly stunning - and the groove more intense as a result!
Thank you for the very inspiring comment, Andrew.
This is one of my favourite Motown tracks
Thanks, REAL MUSIC, not that Rap or Hip-Hop SH=T, out today.
Try Eddie Holland, "Leaving Here".

Came home from Vietnam on Dec 11th 1968 and went to the local Plymouth dealer and pick up 1969 Electric Metallic Blue Plymouth Road Runner. Man! Any where was my home. I lived the life I love.
Brilliant song, a real dance floor filler. Best sax ever. And an awesome stereo mix, too.
Gotta dance when you hear this song
For my big brother, wish you were still with us to enjoy You tube and it’s music. This one is for you!
Hi Jim - thanks for the very thoughtful message.
Love me some Funk Brothers. RIP Jr and JJ.
I'm 77 and feel same way . How can you not. Miss that.
What a treat to hear this gem in STEREO! Thanks so much for sharing it.
Agreed ^^ !!
Known to raise the dead and get em on the dance floor!!!!!
I m listening now I’m 73 ❤❤❤
Every time we started to take incoming in Vietnam me and my buddy would start singing, when the dust hits my shoes, I’ve got the urge to move. I’ll never forget that time or this song.
Thank you for your service
Thank you for your service. I was with you. And the things that made us remember.
LOVE this HDH production for Jr. Walker and the All Stars. I never could figure out what Jr. was singing on the first line until I actually googled the lyrics. Wow!
"All my life I've been like this. If you love me, it's your own risk. When the dust hit my shoes, I've got the urge to move." Jr. Walker and Mike Terry, on the baritone sax, are killing it.
Me and my 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. Don't let that dust him my shoes
This is the ultimate Motown track it embodies the Motown sound so very perfectly and I love it
back when road running meant something now every place be the same.
I always loved that double bass drum before the sax break ❤
WOOOW, Yeah Beautiful ...back in time...
One of my favorite album in 60 e. Still on turntable .
I'm 73 and still love this !!
I'm 72 and still love it. Also have the original 45 of this.
Yes l am . In scots aye am ur
One could argue that, as baad as Jr. Walker was on the tenor, that Mike Terry on the baritone sax made this record!! Major Props. March 1966!
HDH often used a baritone sax. "This Old Heart of Mine, " My World Is Empty Without You, " etc.
Mike Terry!!!! Baritone sax, King of the sound pyramid.
The best
Undisputed jr Walker the best saxophone player ever!!!
Loved this song!
