@@irmasearcy6446 definitely I love their songs this is still my favorite song!!!
I first listen to this in 1968 -- 1969, and I can say, parents and teens played this. Often they played this together with so much joy and fun. Families worked together with unity and compassion at home or in the park. This song was certainly loved by all types of people back then. Thank you for playing this classic !!!
@ Jeffrey Chandler , yes, I don't think we'll ever have that special time where the music was good and people seemed kinder and gentler!!
AWOOOOW! WORD! BLESSING! MY DEAR! TOO YOUU AND YOUR'S! BEE AND STAY SAFE! 💋
Real talk!
Feel it too don't you?
That's when the world was real Jeffrey and the people in it were real. Now, unfortunately...........

What a sound, what a song, what a voice. It still works to this day.
Absolutely. he`s unmatched, his evergy and outstanding talent working that sax is more than a pleasure watching.
This was my husband favorite song. He was a great husband and father. He is gone to sleep now. When I hear this song it brings back so many memories because my husband also played the Saxophone.
You better believe it...........
@@rosapmcelveen4643
Sorry for your loss rosa.
But when the day comes for you to say goodbye as you enter gods garden you will hear that sax.and when you look who's playing it you will see your husband again
Believe me you will ⚘⚘
I could listen to this all day, everyday! Over and over!!! I've lived thru 7 decades of music. This is in the top 5 of all the best ever recorded in my opinion!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The backing vocalists are doing something heavenly.
Background singers the andantes, background singers on many many Motown songs, in fact this song was recorded in Detroit at Motown, junior walker hated it didn't want to record it, it sat on the shelf for sometime before they convince him to record it, the rest is history
@@tonywaldon7801
Motown founder
Berry Gordy also hated it,
and originally had it as a
B-side.
But DJ’s kept playing it so much
that he relented,
and switched this to the A-side.
For Real !!!🇮🇹💙🎶🎤🎷
Love the background vocals. I would love to hear them isolated.
I was 12 yo when this came out.
Still great after all these years.
Me too!
I'm a born and raised Motown boy-East side Detroit ! No better music in the history of music.
I’m a 72 girl from Tijuana, México and still get chills when I listen To that sax , like it’s 1969 again
