What engine is this? Have you ran the quarter mile, if so what is the time? I was expecting a little more but I’m not familiar with 3 series I always own 5-6-7 series
This is the b58 3.0 in line with a original bmw twinscroll turbo. personaly it feels realy good for the small changes i've done. i have not run a 1/4 mile tho because i don't have a draggy or equipment like that.
This is an x drive model that is an all wheel drive system from BMW, it has no slip on a dry road. i'm currently running the standaard pirelly tires from bmw but i will be changing them soon. going to bridgestone.
@@captainminecraftist bro accually iam deciding to buy s4 b9 2018 or 340i x drive b58 2018 and the one will buy i will tune it so which is better and what is the difference between (mhd vs jp4 vs apr vs uniultronic or any thing later )
@@Mike604 no, MHD as a full on flash-tune, the JB4 is a piggyback boost controller. MHD tune is an actual tune where things like fuel and air ratios can be modified to gain more power. A JB4 only tricks the computer into thinking your turbos arent making optimal boost levels so it produces more boost than it should. Long story short, MHD = ECU Tune | JB4 = PSI Increaser
I’m not sure, but my guess is because xhp stage 3 has the ability to add extra line pressure, and thus making the transmission able to withstand more abuse. My 340i is on the stock tune, but with xhp stage 3 trans tune, and it makes a HUGE difference.
The manufacturers "limit" is conservative and is set purely for longevity reasons. You can safely push 100nm+ torque through these transmissions, but this is the limit before it starts to slip to which you can't go any further than a stage 3 map to fix that on these gearboxes, if it still slips, then that's the point in which it needs to be built. I'm sure xhp also has some methods in preventing the car from producing too much torque (torque limits) and other things like ignition cut to relieve power during shifts.
Im not on stage 2+ on stage 2 and stage 3 xhp but im getting quicker times than this. I am still on stock fuel pump and only did a catless DP. From 120-180 I get 5 seconds. Thats more accurate than 0-100 because of other of weather and tyres.
