Top 25 College Football Stadiums, with Fight Songs

- If you’re interested in hearing all the fight songs I used for this video’s soundtrack (some of them aren’t the actual fight song, but they sound better in my opinion), I made a playlist with all 25 songs in order, plus the beginning/ending song: • Top 25 College Stadium...
I am considering releasing the versions that I made to fit into smaller timeslots - stay tuned. Also, be on the lookout for a commentated version of this list; that was my original intention when I started this project.
Lastly, to reveal potential biases, here are the stadiums on this list that I have been to:
Beaver Stadium
"The Horseshoe" - Ohio Stadium
"The Big House" - Michigan Stadium
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
Camp Randall Stadium (Wisconsin)
Notre Dame Stadium
Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium
Sun Devil Stadium
California Memorial Stadium (Cal)
Spartan Stadium
Raymond James Stadium (USF)
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium (Arkansas)
Enjoy!
the CARRIER DOME??? I have never seen this stadium in a top 25 list of anything until now
Last time Syracuse football was relevant. Bill Clinton was elected into office.
Isn't that a professional teams statium? If so this is only college football's statiums
Carrier dome doesn't have air conditioning
Did you look at the criteria list, Syracuse brings crowds to that place
Is also been renamed now
That isn’t Penn States fight song that’s just what we get lit to when the players run onto the field 😭😭😭😭
Yeah. It’s supposed to be fight on state
I agree!
What's the song that was played for Penn State in the video?
@@jbs901 Kernkraft 400 (zombie nation)
@@owen_stret Thank you.
I didn't know Cotton Eye Joe was a fight song 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stadium is only used in the red river rivalry so he just chose that song it doesn’t actually house a team
@@DOFHarambe I don't agree with including it in a list like this, seeing as that it isn't the regular home stadium of a specific college team.
That song was Zombie Nation and I won’t complain, because I went to Penn State. Excellent list. I agree with the majority of choices. Naturally everyone’s list will be a little different. Penn State’s Beaver Stadium is the best stadium in college football and perhaps the best football stadium period. Last year was such a disappointing year with no fans and a 4-5 record. Penn State declining to go to a bowl game infuriated me, but most people didn’t seem to care. It would’ve been a nice reward to finish with a bowl game, make it back to .500 at 5-5 and a mini vacation, but these players lacked any hunger, will to win or a competitive nature. You get 3 or 4 chances in your life to go to a bowl game and the players bitched out voting to just go home. You can see your family any time. Maybe that’s why Penn State has lost so many big games under James Franklin. I’m a die hard Penn State supporter and alum. I will be forever. Let’s hope years team has some balls and bounces back. I’m thinking they’ll go at least 9-3, but has a solid chance to go 10-2 and make a New Years 6 bowl. We Are!
@@AntiAuthority55 Sooooooo....did you get your wish?! 2 tough teams down...1 on the road and another in a White Out...although tons of Auburn fans tried to disrupt the White effect with orange pom poms....still they traveled and payed out the ass for tickets and hotel rooms over a 100 miles away because they never realized you pre-pay in advance (January) with NO refund for your room. And it was about a hundred less than 110,000. Now if they beat Iowa on the road they HAVE to be considered Contenders for sure....still have toughest schedule in the country....6 ranked teams.... 4 on the road!!!! If these (insert Bill O'Brien funicular) make it through that.....Bama isn't the "mountain" they are the crushed rock!!!
PS : I remember Joe's FIRST game as Head Coach and people were bitching about him then ..."He's NO Rip Engle"!!! "We need a REAL coach!"
I've been hearing "Joe must go" my entire life!!! Joe went and they threw him under the bus so nobody would go after the corrupt BOT that not only knew of Jerry, I will bet if you looked they took trips on Epstein's plane.!!!! So glad to see Spanier in an orange jump suit.
I never knew how much I love architecture until now. All of those stadiums are so cool!
How can Florida State not be on the list! Our Stadium has been ranked as the best Colleges in all of College Football with the Warchant
Exactly, pro team have adapted our fight song, this list is Garbage!
Florida better btw
But y’all do have a great stadium
Lol..Because the stadium sucks
Nope not on mine it’s the kc chiefs fight
What no DoAk ...FSU.. but other stadiums made it like the Yale Bowl😳 this is a joke
Syracuse made it but not us. this list is a fraud.
Totally agree..... this person must have never been to Doak............. maybe never even watched us on tv or something.........
@@joefirebug8717 FACTS. Doak is a very fun place to take in a game.
Ya this list is garbage
Yeah I love fsu the whole stadium and university is like a castle and also its historical as Thomas Jeffersons grandson who was a lawyer had founded fsu in the 1850s and its actually the most appealing stadium I know
Incorrect name for Florida St. (HM). It is pronounced "Joke Shamble Erector Set Stadium". GO GATORS!
Husky Stadium absolutely snubbed. Easily a top 10 stadium when you factor in that it is the greatest setting in college football right on the lake and the fans are loud every time.
@@DerekRSalas yeah I’ve never even been sailgating, I’ve just been to the games, and those are a blast. Sailgating is definitely on the bucket list.
I was just gonna leave the same comment. Autzen Stadium wishes it was Husky Stadium! ASU? Common! And the Collosuim is a shithole...
Clearly this person has never experienced Doak and the Warchant in Tallahassee
As a florida fan i totaly agree
As a child, ages 7 thru 16, I learned all these fight songs by watching College Football Saturdays with Keith Jackson, especially. I could recognize them anywhere. It was a really big deal in the 70's.
Doak on a Saturday night is something different
no way are there 25 better sites than Doak.
Maybe like 5 years ago lmao
I am a LSU fan and think the Chief Osceola riding Renegade with the flaming spear is the best entrance of any college football game.
Same with Lane Stadium. It's a crime VT isn't on this list.
Yeah, it's TRASH
I think Nittany nation would agree with me, nothing else compares to Happy Valley, not even close, and a night game White out, enough said!!! WE ARE!!!!!!!!
Sorry but a 3:30 pm start and during a Purdue game you hear the ball come off the punters foot while watching it on tv . Yes maybe a night game but nothing compared to Auburn fans
Oh man I’ve had the Oregon fight song stuck in my head for like 2 weeks now and finally found it
A very underrated stadium to see a game at is Kidd Brewer Stadium home of the Appalachian State Mountaineers. It only has 30,000 seats but many more attend the games. When its packed its an amazing place to see a game. Plus the view of the surrounding Appalachian Mountains is great. During the fall when the leaves are changing it also a beautiful setting for a game. For 30,000 plus fans it sounds more like 60,000.
Cool!
I’ve been there. It’s very underrated.
Yep, one of my favorite stadium experiences, especially during games against power 5 schools.
Love my Sooners stadium with the traditional old school press box 😍
nice video but you missed Arkansas
If a school's fight song isn't original, they can't claim a top tradition. Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, we're looking at you.
The Oregon fight song is the Texas song
Tin ear much?
Michigan Wolverines fight song is the Best!Hale to the Victors ! Go Blue!
Beaver stadium in a white out is definitely An unforgettable experience when zombie nation plays get ready
#weare
How the fuck isn't Michigan number one
Because Penn state has the best stadium
I agree with most of the stadiums, as the Rose Bowl is on my bucket list. But I am disappointed Doak Campbell didn't make the top 25 cut.
AGREE
Clearly biased to big ten and northern schools
This list is Garbage!
Harvard’s stadium looks like a Colosseum
agreed
FYI University of Wisconsin Fight Song is On Wisconsin!!! The Song that is used here is played after every Touchdown!!!
"On Wisconsin" is the correct fight song for #12, and not that piece of crap song that's played at half of all CFB games.
Your #7 is the most iconic of them all. It's a national landmark, has hosted Super Bowls, World Series & the Olympics (and will again in 2028.)
I noticed how Harvard Stadium and the LA Memorial Coliseum resemble the Roman Colosseum. I like the color scheme and torch idea for the Coliseum and Harvard's design practically mirrors Rome's. The renovation of the Coliseum was long awaited but worth it to see them being put in the top 10. Happy centennial Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum!
Doak and Husky Stadium shouldve been on this list. Whatever reason Harvard and Yale made the list, its probably not even football-related
Yale's football stadium is so cool
So is nobody gonna talk about how low asu’s stadium is even tho it’s in between 2 buttes on the side of a town lake, and fun fact the week of the territorial cup game all week students from uofa try painting the big A on the mountain red and blue while asu students try protecting it all week. It’s actually pretty fun and cool and uofa students have painted it red and blue before lol
Auburn and FSU should be on the list
Wtf I can’t believe they aren’t
You could pick your stadiums up and sit it inside Happy Valley, ours so insanely big!!!!! Lol 🏈
Syracuse is in but Auburn is an honorable mention??? What a joke!
I somehow know all these songs I believe from ea college football games
same
I CAN LISTEN TO FIGHT SONGS ALL DAY....AND HAVE.
Nice Video! Illinois should be include. If you do another video like this! The 3 -in-one song!
Hail to the Victor's #4 please !!! Greatest College Football fight song
IM FOR CLEMSON, BUT LOVES YOUR FIGHT SONG.
Why isn’t Michigan State here?
2:19 Carrier Dome didn't exist until it was bulit in 1980
Tennessee Volunteers fight song is not Rocky Top (that is an unofficial fight song) the official fight song of UT is Down The Field.
Rocky top is what you’re known for though
Not sure if you know but DKR was remodeled to completely be enclosed
The Horseshoe over The Swamp and Tiger Stadium???
Bite your tongue! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Adding the home team's fight song was a nice touch!
Well done!‼ 👍💯
#GEAUXTIGERS
🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅
Except that 'Hold That Tiger' isn't LSU or Clemson's actual fight song.
even though they are our rivals OU should be higher on this list, the latest construction project looks great, and I give them points for their memorial to all of the sooners who served in the military, and gave their life for their country. They have a place where everyone who died in combat (ww1, ww2, korea, vietnam, and modern wars) are listed. I would also say that Boone Pickens Stadium is better than half of this list. I'd put Ohio St 1st, Michigan 2nd, Texas A&m 3rd, LSU 4th, and OU 5th.
Glad that the Rose Bowl was higher than the Memorial Coliseum but despite having UCLA's logo in the bottom left, no images of UCLA games were there and also didn't include UCLA fight song.
Aye USC made it in the top 10 for best football stadium ❤️💛✌️✌️✌️✌️🏈
It must be a joke then because I've been to HS football games with a better atmosphere and more people lol
@@mississippirebel1409 I mean our fight song is considered a top five and the LA Coliseum is a historic landmark that USC plays at plus there in contract negotiations with SoFi Stadium to see if they can play games there as well😂😂😂
@@howru2055 who cares? You guys decreased capacity by 16,000 and still can’t even come close to filling the stadium
@@mississippirebel1409 It’s not going by atmosphere. If it were, no doubt USC wouldn’t be up here at all. It’s going by Song and Stadium. Which is full of history and beauty. Los Angeles fans don’t go hard core like others. Small states and cities have Football as their top thing going for them. LA fans aren’t as glued to their team like many other fans. Sucks but it’s the truth.
I'm not a Notre Dame fan but just with the history it should be top 5. Go BUCKS!
Rose bowl no 1 bever statium or Michigan no2 then LSU, Ga. Ala. Or Fsu no3 then the rest
And im a Bama fan
What about the Longhorns new stadium that’s almost done? They redid the south end zone and it’s really cool
I’ve been there twice about to be 5 times since the renovation and I love it🥳🤘🏻🧡
Yale and Oklahoma share a very similar fight song? Who knew.
Oklahoma borrowed Yale's song, and only change the words. Yale is the originator which they call Boola Boola, Oklahoma calls it Boomer Sooner. Also, Yale's Boola Boola, is not their official fight song, which is "Bull Dog"
I learned that as well lol
Doak Campbell?
Penn State and UCLA did not use their fight songs and Nebraska’s was not their actual fight song
If Harvard and Yale made the list a lot of group of 5 teams should have made it before them lol
Doak, Kinnick, Husky Stadium, VT, and Michie were missed
Some of the song choices are weird and I think both Texas am and Wisconsin are wrong
My dude has Miami, when literally their stadium aside from the couple of years in the early 2000s is literally the quietest place on campus. Miami doesnt care about college sports at all.
Sooners need to be way higher
No FSU or auburn?
What is the narrative behind the use of a song containing multiple N-words and FBombs as the football team entrance song at Kyle Field?
Many still do take offense to the use of these racial slurs..
One would think TAMU would want to be part of the solution, not the problem?
Wasn't going to touch it but, how is LSU song #3 and Clemson #25 and they are the same song? Penn State isn't their fight song sir! What are we doing here? There were one or two sad songs I'm guessing no one roll with and some how .....so way, Florida State fight song nowhere to be found! Just plain crazy bro !!!!
Just to let you know, the Carrier Dome was built in 1980 i think, not 1924.
dawg the horseshoe and beaver stadium is massive that's why those Ohio state Penn state games crack on either field 100,000 in attendance electric atmosphere
Nice list !.... Ohio State ?? ... Ask ANY other Big Ten fan base ... Sorry OHIO ☹️....the Bucks are the WORST by Far !
That was NOT Wisconsin's fight song.
The Bowls dont count so your list already is discredited and where is lane stadium to
Hokie High Virginia Tech VPI
Correct me if I'm wrong but that was NOT Wisconsins fight song.
You are correct. “On Wisconsin” is their fight song-one of the best ever-but here he uses “Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight” which the band plays after every Badgers touchdown.
Williams brice until you go to one of their games
I’m sorry, but that is not LSU’s fight song.
Michigan should of been #1
All they have is capacity, it’s shaped like a box.
Should have used the actual fight songs. “On Wisconsin” is one of the greatest fight songs ever-definitely in the top five. Here you replaced it with “Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight.” Good grief.
lol penn state just got crushed by arkansas. That’s what you get for leaving them off this list. WPS
Where's Arkansas ranked now?
@@derrick4544 Derrick derrick derrick… Must not be able to read. This comment was made a year ago.
Why is Ohio State #2?
To not have Michigan State on here is ignorant. Capacity doesn’t matter for anything fyi.
Wisconsin is wrong. Their fight song is "On Wisconsin", not "Hot Time In The Old Town Tonight". They play "Hot Time" after scores (and they do the same at Fresno State). USC is wrong also. Their fight song is "Fight On USC", not "Salute To Troy", which is played interminably throughout the game. Also Penn State is wrong, their song is "Fight On State". Ohio State plays "Buckeye Battle Cry" after scores, but they play "Across The Field" during the game. Tennessee may also be wrong, "Rocky Top" is one of their songs but I don't think it's their fight song. Also, I think Nebraska's song is "Hail Varsity". Sorry, I was in college marching bands and I was a music major and I'm into fight songs. Nice job but Michigan should have been #1.
That wasn't Wisconsin's fight song...
6:02 gidadedagedagedago
Death Valley will the new stuff I would rank about 15 there adding more club seats Closer to the field which I don’t particularly like because it takes on a lot of seating but more amenities more fans coming to the games
the real death valley was #3 on this list what u talkin ab?
I respect Number 1 tbh.
Nebraska's fight song is called "There is No Place Like Nebraska," not Hail Varsity. If you actually visit Memorial Stadium, you'll see it deserves to be ranked a lot higher than 23rd.
Was thinking the same myself
Colorado should be on here. The scenery is amazing. Holds 53,000 people, has a great atmosphere plus the campus is also beautiful.
Where is SMU mustangs
How TF does Harvard and Yale sneak in and Washington doesn't even make the list? Both of those Ivy League schools are awful
Great history if nothing else
Probably because of the history
History of the ancient past!
Notre Dame Stadium is older, more picturesque and far more tradition, winning and is more fabled than some of these other top five stadiums. But I have always loved the Los Angeles Colosseum and California’s Strawberry Hill. Kyle Field has no business being in top 20 . A modern stadium just to promote..so called tradition of a team that can’t even rank consistently in the top five programs of any conference. Aggies are the most pretentious fans, football, team and university in the nation. I’ve always liked Ohio State and Michigan Stadium, Tiger Stadium. Penn State should be no where in the top ten.
I agree and im a Bama fan
This is also a matter of opinion on whomever is rating this
On Wisconsin!
What’s that song played by LSU’s band?
Hold that Tiger!
ROCKY TOP is always number 1 in these list with that fan base and that stadium. The fact you guys had them at 6 makes this list a joke.
GO BIG ORANGE!
For who Texas of vols
@@gracepuckett9653 GBO denotes Tennessee. I think Texas is Hook em Horns.
Besides the top 4 the rankings are way off, LSU is the most intimidating place I've ever seen, OSU fans are too nice to be that high. How VT isn't in the top 10 idk, most people say they didn't realize how loud it is there. LSU and VT are the only 2 to record earthquakes.
It isnt intimidating to us Bama fans, we have won more there than at home i believe, at least in the last 20+ games
that "earthquake" bullshit is just that BULLSHIT!! nearly every stadium in the country can be detected on seismometers. I can even detect you beating your wife if I set a seismometer in your front yard! LOL Next time you want to talk about "registering earthquakes" talk to a geophysicist first...and just sit down, and watch the game! Or stand up and cheer! but stop with that silly bullshit. I have been to LSU and VAT stadium games. VAT isn't that louder than most others. LSU does get going for a night game. But THE White Out definitely blows them all away. No contest when it comes to OSUeast or the Pig House at Michigan. Wisconsin and VAT are even louder than Michigan.
And TX A&M definitely rocked more than UTX did. Even the UT vs. OK game wasn't as loud as Kyle Field. But that was a few decades ago. I imagine at 100,000, Kyle Field could get really going today!! I just want to see the Aggies take on their "new" conference partners in a couple years. The trash talk and shit slinging would be as entertaining as the game!
The list should be of the most disappointing stadiums. So many I have been to, were not as the fans bragged about...but it's still college football! And I can say, I at least saw college football while it was still college football!
How u gonna put Penn State at number 1 when they can't even sell out there stadium. Hint look at Tennessee
What are you talking about?
Where UCF ?
That is NOT Wisconsin‘s fight song! On Wisconsin is the Badgers’ fight song, fer cry eye. Good grief...
They also had Kernkraft 400 as Penn State’s fight song lmao
So the University of Oklahoma and Yale have way too similar of fight songs.
Oklahoma borrowed Yale's song, and only change the words. Yale is the originator which they call Boola Boola, Oklahoma calls it Boomer Sooner. Also, Yale's Boola Boola, is not their official fight song, which is "Bull Dog"
If a school's fight song isn't original, they can't claim a top tradition. Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, we're looking at you.
Universal it of Houston fight song so good
I bet the ones deciding were from the north
Clemson at 25?!?!?! Lmaoo top 15 stadium easily
Full facts 💯
No Arkansas or Auburn? Hmmm...
Carrier Dome is on the list and not…
Florida St
Iowa
Arkansas
Auburn
West Virginia
Virginia Tech
Sorry nah
The bears stole the fight song from the braves
I meant beavers
Franklin Field is better than the Yale Bowl. A lot better.
Appreciate Penn State being no. 1
I know everything is subjective but PSU being No. 1 is definitely suspect, probably Top 10 or 15 but not No. 1.
Roar Lions, Roar!
@@graciel2313 nah it’s factual
@@plex6218 Have you been to other stadiums? I have been to LSU, Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Missouri, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Florida as well as PSU. About half of those are better than PSU and I haven't been to OSU, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida State or Texas A&M yet just to name a few. PSU is a good experience but not compared to a lot of stadiums with a top notch game day experience.
@@graciel2313 did you go to the whiteout?
