Morris Minor - Spin-On Oil Filter Conversion

So, today we changed from a paper element oil filter to a spin-on one on the 1970 Morris Minor.
Relatively straightforrd job - hardest part was chaninging shape of the oil feed pipe so it reached the new adaptor

Thanks for the video just done this on my 1966. I used a S/H unit from a 998 mini.
Following your lead it all went well, the hardest part was getting out the old studs.
The whole thing took me under an hour.

gosh very awkward to get to on that model of minor , i have the side valve engine bit easier to get to the oil filter i have recently got a conversion kit for that as the spin on filters are much better really , good video i enjoyed it 👍👍

Thanks, worse bit was getting that pipe to fit new part. Always harder when you are filming as well. Think the conversation is a good one and worth the effort though.

What oil filter did you use?

Oil Filter was a NAPAD NFO3016 - Same as BOSCH 0451102056, WIX WL7098, PURFLUX LS205, MAHLE OC21 & MANN W712. Believe WIX is a good make
