This album is a masterpiece. The only problem with it is that it ends.
Meine persönliche beste musikalische Neuentdeckung des Jahres, vielleicht sogar der letzten zwei Jahre.
Das Album ist der absolute Wahnsinn! Ich höre es jeden Tag mehrfach und finde es trotzdem immer besser.
Absolute Spitzenmusiker und der Gesang ist episch! Ich hätte bitte gerne jedes Jahr ein neues Album. 🙂
Ich kenne Disillusion schon seit sie 2007 auf dem Summerbreeze waren und fand sie schon damals extrem gut. Unbedingt auch die Alben von damals anhören (Back to Times of Splendor und Gloria).

Diese Musik ist unglaublich und begleitet mich jetzt schon seit fast zwanzig Jahren. Vor ziemlich genau drei Jahren konnte ich Disillusion in Hamburg auch endlich einmal direkt erleben, nachdem ich sie 2007 beim Wacken verpasst habe. 🙌

Man it's hard to find REAL music these days... at least a band that you can take completely serious. Disillusion is like finely aged wine and gets sweeter with each, new album. Spiritual to say the least.
Times were never better to find new, inspiring, real music tbh. There is just so much that you cant see the forest through the trees. ;) youtube is not the best platform to find "new" music tho.
I am so glad to have found this band . They are so very creative and it is obvious that they take pride in what they are creating .

This is a epic masterpiece in song writing. The start of the song the energy provided at halfway trough and then the epic ending. what a way to write a song.
Might be my song of the year, I still have to dig deeper into the album. But so far it's absolutly great!

Ayam ist von Anfang bis Ende großartig komponiert. Während "Am Abgrund" musikalisch eine Brücke zum vorigen Album "The Liberation" schlägt, erweitert Ayam mit jedem weiteren Song seine eigene Atmosphäre. Insbesondere From the Embers, Abide the Storm und The Brook sind einfach nur großartig.

Ich für meinen Teil würde aber kritisch anmerken, dass Ayam zu The Liberation, als ganzes gesehen, leicht schwächer ist.
Wir reden hier aber im Disillusion-Kosmos, also weit über der Masse und mein Gejammer soll nur auf höchstem Niveau sein!
Das Album läuft bei mir seit Erscheinen mehrfach die Woche, meist ganz durch, aber grade "The Brook" zündet bei mir nicht so richtig. The Liberation konnte da mit dem Überhammer "The Mountain" einfach mehr am Ende.
Trotzdem hätte vielleicht noch etwas mehr Entwicklungszeit manchem Song gut getan. Wenn ich Punkte geben müsste, wäre es aber trotzdem eine 9,5 von 10, schon weil Am Abgrund, Tormento und From the Embers 11 Punkte bekommen 😜

reading all the comments from people who just found this band is such a charm. they've had an interesting road since 'splendor' and i kept up with it for a while but i eventually forgot almost completely until an hour ago. i saw new music from these dudes and i popped off in my living room like i had just hit the daigo parry at combo breaker. i have to buy new chairs and a lamp. there are... some regrets, but not many.

Album is almost perfect minus the last song which is meh. I love this album so much and this song became one of my favorites after a few listens. Such a worth follow up to Back to the Times of Splendor EP. Amazing album, I hope many people discover this and this band starts getting more attention, they deserve it!
