@runningforviews dude it's hard to say. My favorite race is Western so I have to go with that. But the UTMB CR was so EPIC!!! I really want to see Jim come back to UTMB race Killian, Francois, Tom Evans fresh, and Miller again....They can all push each other to get another CR...But like you said I want to see Jim go for Sub 14 at Western!
@@jeffscofield5501 haha I guess I was a little biased because my favorite race is UTMB. And if all the elite men can show up fresh and injury free next next year to UTMB that would be the greatest race EVER!
My wife and I were extremely fortunate to run into Jim while he was training for the UTMB in August 2023. We were hiking the TMB and I recognized Jim as he passed us. I was fortunate enough to have my picture taken with him. I admire him for his physical and mental discipline and he inspires the average person such as myself get out and stay active. Keep up the great work Jim .
He’s so amazing! Just saw him finish here in the Nice by UTMB 100k. Going to make a make a video on it in the next couple weeks! Wish I could have gotten a picture with him! Thanks for watching!
I'd also like to add that if KIllian or any European beat Jim's CR at Western and if the Western course was slightly altered with "more miles" they would for sure say oh yea CR!!!
Haha that’s what I was thinking! To bad none of them have Jim’s speed to get the course record at Western. Except maybe Kilian but I don’t think he’ll race Western ever again.
Not to be "that guy" but Courtney's breakout moment was the Moab 240 in 2017 so technically she hasn't been known since the 2000's like Kilian! Just shows how quickly she's become the GOAT!
Let me know what your favorite Jim Walmsley course record is! Thanks for watching!

Jim is such a legend!
So true! His UTMB race was so iconic!
The fact that he has 10 course records to choose from is mindblowingly lol
So true! He’s that good!
Great video. Can you make a video describing the differences between the big 3 100 milers.
For sure! And by that you just mean UTMB, Western States, and Hardrock right?
1.2 miles longer and he was 12 minutes under the previous CR. Ya I’m with you, I’d say it’s very safe to call it a CR!
And the course is constantly changing so he ran farther and faster than anyone before him.

haha I guess since the 2010's. So true though. Crazy what she's done in 10 years!
Is there a Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim run? I thought he has the record for that? Maybe it was just him having fun, and not a race.
He has the FKT (fastest known time) for the R2R2R but you’re right, just for fun and not a race. Thanks for watching!
