I feel its a nice change from the typecast most black characters get. We're either the ultra righteous god fearing savior, or the thug. To see a black woman play an evil genius mastermind is a welcomed change of pace
It's hard to tell what her endgame is it, that's why I like her. I don't think she is helping Homelander and Vought. I think she has her own agenda and is playing everyone like a game of chess.
Idk if its just me but I feel like the most out-of-pocket, most socially unacceptable pieces of media do diversity the best ironically. I feel like everyone else plays it too safe and they end up making caricatures and stereotypes of people instead... which again is ironic.
@@wingsoficarus1139 I fully agree like South Park for example. Sister Sage feels like a breath of fresh air in my opinion and I like the actress so far.

Yeah, homelander did kill noir, it is just a different guy. Fun fact: the actor for black noir is the same as the previous 3 seasons, he is just playing a different character by literally just talking
glad that the actor is still on the show and had some lines, because the guy is really funny.
When I first heard him my thought was he sounded like "young Noir" in the flashbacks which of course assumed was him the whole time.....glad they went that route to continue to utilize his acting ability 💯

Butcher showing genuine concern for hughie here. Another time was when the van rolled and hughie was seriously hurt. Butcher isn’t a bad person like he thinks he has been through a lot of bad stuff is all.

Homelander using his x ray vision to see the rotting of butchers brain. Like he said before it would be like putting down a wounded dog. There is no real challenge there anymore. Which is why he says I am going to miss us. Butcher doesn’t have much time. I’m the comics he had a ticking clock but that was a limit on time to execute a master plan not that he was dying.
