Robot Monster, also known as Monster from Mars, has often been cited as one of the worst movies ever made (an honor most famously given to Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space). It was also one of Elmer Bernstein's earliest film scores; this one used an eight-piece orchestra. Capitol Records even expressed interest in producing an album.
