I made this with the same ratios and it turned out to be soo good. Although I used fresh mango pulp and also added some crushed pistashio, cardamom and mint. It really elevated the flavour and freshness.

I made this 2 days ago. Absolutely amazing. It tasted just as it would do in a restaurant. My family loved it. I'm just being cheeky now, but can you do a desi kadak chai or masala chai and a desi milky coffee apna style in a pan? That would impress the auntyji's. I can do alot of things but always burn the pans when trying to make the tea/coffee. You are fantastic. Keep those recipes coming x

Thanks for this, I have been making this similar but not the same. I omit the ice cubes. It's just my preference. Also, I prefer fresh mango when available (tastes so much better) but the puree tins are convenient of course. I add some vanilla sugar. Last but not least, I also add ... cardamon powder. Just a teaspoon. Makes it perfect.

Hi Tom, thanks for your comment! I can't remember how many times I've ordered this when we used to visit restaurants! It is definitely a firm favourite.. and so easy to make! Francis, I personally find the mango pulp is sweet already so therefore does not require further sweetening in this recipe but many Indian restaurants add sugar to this recipe to make it more sweetener like commercially sold versions in supermarkets.
