Hi, I am not Kevin but I hope I can help with the caching stuff. It usually deppends of your hosting enviroment + stack, but its usually either the one that your hosting provider/server stack gives you (litespeed cache for litespeed or some like the cloudways one if ur there or the siteground one). If your hosting enviroment doesnt give you a tool to handle it, I would pick depending of the stack. If you have a tool like Perfmatters to handle code, its probably fine to run a simple cache plugin or a nicer one but with almost only cache in it. I'm interested in where you have this blueprint setup, on a domain or local installation? How do you put it onto another site? Which plugin? Is there settings you need to update once using that blueprint like database related that's important. Your current video was more of your "stack" rather than a blueprint but I loved it anyway, definitely getting frames and animate.css ... maybe happy files, I used filebird before.
@@Gearyco I'm curious why this isn't in your blueprint stacks since every website would need to send email (at least for the WordPress admin notification email)?
Great video, just a remark. On the info markers, you do need to do style with html and CSS and I believe a bit of PHP. It is not doable out of the box with WPGrid Builder. Would be great to see how Automatic.css could work with that and make it much easier. The rest, this is a dream team set of plugins. Thanks.
Its similar to our stack, since we based it on your recommendation 😇 We also got SlimSeo Schema and Dashboard Switcher, but havent used them yet. Excited to try the WP Grid Builder Facets: Got an upcoming Website with a filterable map. Admin Colums Looks nice. Perfmatters is no caching Plugin, is it? Guess youre doing caching on the Server Level?
@@Gearyco I see. Q based on your answer - would it not be better to have that same security in place, locally, but have CloudFlare/proxy drop those packets before they use any of your servers resources ? My approach is to roughly duplicate the local security/WAF config, into Cloudflare. I combine that with CF's origin cert & ideally only CF's IP's are whitelisted for incoming. Further fencing is done via a few other methods / layers in CF for login etc etc.

@@Gearyco 🙁pitty, would be interesting to know why it's better and especially how third party plugin support is for Bricks, are there still support missing for Bricks by some plugins that work with Oxygen
Its some good notes here, but as a true developer when working with wordpress, your NUMBER one tool actually isn't ANY plugin. It is WP-CLI. NOT even having to touch wordpress or it's dashboard is key. Mastering WP-CLI will save you even more time then anything mentioned in this video! And then add PHPAdmin, but I use Navicat.. to enter 'certain' data DIRECTLY into the database.. still never even having to see wordpress admin. Lastly, the last 2 items albeit a bit more advanced knowledge is necessary, but as a developer or agency you must utilize is making wordpress headless and at minimum a simple API on all wordpress installs.. now that is a true wordpress blueprint .

@@rashaadhartley I have it setup in Gridpane and it's a one-click deployment to a live dev server for any new site we want to work on.
What about a smtp plugin? which one do you use? or is this integrated in WS-form?
Postmark
@@Gearyco I'm curious why this isn't in your blueprint stacks since every website would need to send email (at least for the WordPress admin notification email)?
Why are you not using litespeed cache with a litespeed server? So fast and delivers nearly everything and more.
Would be great to see videos on how you handle hardening security and performance optimization.
What about security for websites, what and how do you secure them ?
Mostly server level
No cache plugin needed, e.g. Lite Speed Cache?
Nah, server caching. Or cloudflare.
Great video, just a remark. On the info markers, you do need to do style with html and CSS and I believe a bit of PHP. It is not doable out of the box with WPGrid Builder. Would be great to see how Automatic.css could work with that and make it much easier. The rest, this is a dream team set of plugins. Thanks.
Which info markers?
@@Gearyco The map pins (You can only add 1 type by default) and the card info/style of the pins.
Its similar to our stack, since we based it on your recommendation 😇
We also got SlimSeo Schema and Dashboard Switcher, but havent used them yet.
Excited to try the WP Grid Builder Facets: Got an upcoming Website with a filterable map.
Admin Colums Looks nice.
Perfmatters is no caching Plugin, is it? Guess youre doing caching on the Server Level?
Yes or via cloudflare.
Need a Blueprint install video for 2024 .. probably one with the new acss 3.0
How do you find the accessiblity of WP Grid Builder?
I only use the facets and they're good. I haven't really inspected much else.
Security ? I didn't see anything about that in plugin list , or am I mistaken ?
Most is handled at the server level.
@@zadekeys2194 we already do use cloudflare
How do you deal with plugins with renewal? Does the client pay for any annual fee?
Clients pay a monthly management fee. That easily covers all the plugins we use.
@@Gearyco what about if the website is one time project or client doesn't take maintenance plan?
@@mrhelmisan he requires management plans.
@@pandaosa9 yeah, just wondering what if a client only wants website without management plan
@@mrhelmisan i imagine he'll say to make it a requirement, but if not, inform them that they'll need to pay for licenses.
Hi why don't you use "MetaBox Admin" columns instead of adding a new plugin ?
Not as user friendly.
Why not ShortPixel AI instead of ShortPixel Image Optimizer?
Haven’t tried it. I’ll need to look into it.
Thank you Kevin, disnt know Admin. Columns. Nect stack your music effects stack 😂 just kidding thank you so mich again!
I can do that too!
@@Gearyco jajja! Now I discovered this MUST plugin for my stack
Permalink Manager Lite. GREAT FOR SEO permastructure slug
Hosting, please! :) Also, i paid my dues with a like and sub lol
Your monitor size seems pretty big in size & in pixels too. It's hard to see on Phone
I know :/ I'm not even using it at full resolution. Maybe I'll change it more for videos.
Thank you for sharing.
For the SEO Plugins: for me, RankMath is a trash can🤮. I only use "The SEO Framework"♥ better than all SEO plugins.
I used to use SEO Framework. I prefer RM.
so Frames doesn't work with Oxygen yet 😭
Not yet ... we were originally building it for Oxygen, but then the whole Breakdance issue happened and the market for Oxygen shrank overnight.
Naa, we’re still here, bring Frames to Oxygen, you won’t be disappointed!
@@Gearyco recently started using Oxygen, so not looking forward to switch builders again, but a comparison between Oxygen vs Bricks could be a interesting video
@@nick90000 bricks is much better. But can’t do a video because it’s kinda bad juju and I’m already on oxygens shit list.
Okay, but this is a video about plugins…
Penny-wise, pound foolish 😀
Kevin, we are still waiting for a new video for 2025!
