I saw a recent interview with George Chakiris and was so disappointed to hear that Natalie would not speak to Richard Beymer throughout the movie. Guess she wanted Robert Wagner or Warren Beatty to play Tony.

Richard was 82 in 2021. I've followed his career since I was 14. My father worked at the Hollywood Citizen News for over 40 years and worked with Richard's dad, Dick Beymer.

Hi - great idea and I enjoyed the stories. Your math went a bit astray with the two major male stars: Russ Tamblyn, 27 in 1961 would be 87 now - not 77. And Richard Beymer, similarly, being 22 in 1961 would be 82 now NOT 72. Still looking good tho. Cheers. JC
