Sorry for the late reply. I have Winning MS-300 10oz, Winning MS-600 16oz, Rival RSV-2 sparring gloves 14oz and a few other pairs, but the fit and feel on these gloves is like nothing else. Not to mention the wrist support is just phenomenal.
Man i ll by new boxing glove i am thinking about winning but its lil bit pricy is this rival glove protect the knuckles enough and fingers very well cuz i have problem in them and my cleto glove make it worst especially i am heavyweight and heavy hitter u think it protect very well or just by winning
I totally agree on the stiffness of Rival Gloves. I thought I was the only one!!!!!!!!! You have a new supporter bruh, this is the first I've rocked with your channel. I'll check out alot more.
I have a pair of Rival RB-50 'Intelli-Shock' Bag Gloves, which are somewhere between traditional bag mitts and more modern bag gloves. I can say that they're incredibly firm, I don't know whether this is a decent indication of how all Rival gloves feel. In terms of sparring gloves, I have a pair of laced training gloves by a very small company called Duke's which, if I'm not mistaken, are made by the fella who makes Sabas gloves. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough. The quality of the leather and the stitching is phenomenal, they're soft enough to feel comfortable to spar in yet they're very responsive. I also have a pair of Cleto Reyes velcro training gloves, which I use for similar activity, but they're not as protective or responsive in my book.
Never tried Rival gloves, but you can try Twins if you like opening the palm and hitting hard without causing damage on yourself (with a 12oz/14oz). They are made for Muay Thai but if you like gloves it might be up your street.
Twins are far too small for me. Thai people tend to be quite small, so the gloves are small fitting. I'm a heavyweight; big hands. I'm also not a fan of gloves with a short wrist (cuff).
HatmanStrikesBack Yeah they do have a short wrist, less weight at the cuff. I have large mitts for a 170lb bredda but get what your saying, they are snug at the tips of the fingers.
last pair of gloves i bought were twins and i love them. because they are short cuff i dont wear wraps i just do up the velco really tight, im not a hard hitter so its ok. even with wraps i would sometimes hurt wrists on bodyshots till i bought the twins. im no expert on gloves or boxing btw
Twins being MT gloves are more reinforced on the back of the wrist than your average boxing glove as the are designed t kick protection to. They make great all round durable gloves.
I have a pair of gold RS 1’s and they’re excellent. Personally I thought they were a bit soft on the knuckle padding, but my hands are also quite well conditioned from doing Ju Jitsu when I was told to do knuckle press ups on concrete. Never had an issue with the material. Only issue I had is that the wrist was a bit tight.
Thumb to palm pinching is a 1cm stitching fault. According to fit2box they are more durable than leather. However in my opinion theres no substitute for leather
Thank you for the review really helped when deciding to buy my gloves I ended up with the Cleto Reyes in the end for the simple fact it was leather however I was very close to getting these Lol perhaps when I got some more money saved up I’ll buy a pair just for bags and pads
I bought some Rival boxing boots and I was more impressed with the looks than the functionality. Let someone else buy these gloves before you invest in them.
I wear Grant gloves for my fights, three pairs which are either 10oz, 12oz or 14oz. I believe Grant's are fairly neutral in fit & mould-in quite nicely & give you great elements of the other glove brands (I wear softer density), IMO the best overall at those sizes. But my 16oz Sparring gloves are Rivals from 2015 of that generation and I'd say there decent overall & are very comfortable but I would say they are overly dense but a very good overall performer, but I believe I could find better, for me anyway.
Just sold my Winning MS600's and bought a pair of Cleto's. I feel the gel type gloves sting more than normal ones. A mate has the RS1 Pros, they are quality too.
HatmanStrikesBack they sting me more coz I'm the one getting hit by them. Lol. I think you mentioned in the video regarding lighter punchers buying harder gloves.
Oh ok. Never tried gel gloves as far as I can remember. But the stiffest gloves I've ever owned were a pair of Rival RS11V's. Never sparred in them because they were ridiculously hard. Was afraid I'd seriously hurt someone. For some strange reason some pairs of RS11V's have soft padding, and others have the extremely dense padding. It seems to be totally random, as if they use different foam for different batches. I had mine well over a year, used them for thousands of rounds on the bag, and they remained rock solid lol. Didn't really break in much at all.
Man i ll by new boxing glove i am thinking about winning but its lil bit pricy is this rival glove protect the knuckles enough and fingers very well cuz i have problem in them and my cleto glove make it worst especially i am heavyweight and heavy hitter u think it protect very well or just by winning
Yeah I allso somethimes am fascinated with gloves though rarely, and thing - why that particular fighter allways weres those gloves. Just havent touched none of the good ones lol.
I would say it’s stiffer passing than the other sparring gloves that rival offers. Cleto Reyes are better for power transmission and winning is better for protection. They are grant level gloves. Solid.
If you’re looking to get a nice pair check out Fly sports, the likes of linares, haye and many pros are now using them. Can get a lace up or Velcro for around £325
Winning is the gold standard for hand protection and sparring opponent protection. Grants are more in the balanced range (punchers/protection), but Floyd customizes his pairs (both fighting and training) to include a layer of Orthopedic foam built into the gloves. These are the ones that are protective. You can do this too by emailing Grant but be prepared to empty out the wallet. Personally I'd rather have 2 pairs of Winning than 1 pair of Grant with or without orthopedic padding.
Daniel Henry I agree. Winning also make gel knuckle protectors that go under your wraps and strap just across the knuckle. They are brilliant, use them always.
Send the companies an email - show them how many subs you have and see if they will send you some for review. If you dont ask you dont get
BillB808 Quality idea!
Lol this is Hatmans xhamster....
Alloment Proof loool
He likes a good fisting. Needs the right glove to fist people.
This video made me feel better . I got like $400 worth of barely used Everlast gloves sitting on my wall but here I am considering some rivals 🤣
They're incredible. i have a pair of the red/silver 18oz and overall are super super good.
The Rival RS100s are pretty solid. Decent padding on the knuckles and the lace track definitely helps. Has a few thumb issues with this glove though
Their the best sparing gloves I've ever owned
what other gloves do you have

Thanks for the info!!

chrisj9167 can you use them on a bag ?

Fit2box is by far the best boxing equipment channel !!!
Lomachenko´s cutman Russ Anber is the owner of Rival company.
He has worked the corner of a lot of different fighters. Think he might have even been in Joshua's corner at one point.
I’m also a glove addict 🤣💯

Haven't had these particular ones but I've always known rival to have bangin grip
Thanks for this vid hatman. More gloves reviews would be appreciated
Bareknuckle fights, people dont break their hands much in them
I saw that video on fit to box
and the reviews were favourable however its Cleto reyes for me all day..

I use Cleto Reyes 16oz for sparring with my new fortress boxing pro elite handwraps. You should check them hand wraps out

Grant's are nice, but the price is crazy these days.
Hatman, are you going to do a video about the horsehair gloves being used for Horn V Crawford? What sort of effect will they have on the fight?
I'm itching like a dope fiend for the Mitts. I will be getting 2 of them
Just sold my Winning MS600's and bought a pair of Cleto's. I feel the gel type gloves sting more than normal ones. A mate has the RS1 Pros, they are quality too.
Sting your opponent more?

Don’t worry about ur weight
Big dude, get Reyes
Seti is doing a presentation in London soon. I'm coming from Rotterdam to see him. Any good gyms I can visit in the London area?
Amateur or pro gym?
HatmanStrikesBack Amateur. I just need some good pads and some sparring. Holland has 0 quality boxing.
I’m getting my pair
Mr. Boxing Today Said The Rival Gloves Are Great Gloves To Buy Because Its Comfortable For The Punching Bags
I got a pair of hybrids they are good for sparring
Man i ll by new boxing glove i am thinking about winning but its lil bit pricy is this rival glove protect the knuckles enough and fingers very well cuz i have problem in them and my cleto glove make it worst especially i am heavyweight and heavy hitter u think it protect very well or just by winning

Dude I'm being honest as long as the glove doesn't feel like a freaking pillow then it's fine by me
My problem is, I'm a big puncher but have brittle hands so could injure myself from throwing a power punch
Buy either Casanova or winning

Padding*
These or Ibox customs?
the price of decent gloves isn't cheap
Yo hatman you ever gonna talk about ryan garcia
Yeah, he's a hype job.
If you’re looking to get a nice pair check out Fly sports, the likes of linares, haye and many pros are now using them. Can get a lace up or Velcro for around £325
Michael Stanness thanks bro
Gloves make your brain allow you to hit harder
I hit way harder with these gloves I’m glad I got a pair
@Azazel-_xl I got 14oz
@@strengthandpower101 no, it’s just that these gloves are so protective I can punch harder without worrying about hurting my wrist or knuckles.
@@strengthandpower101 that’s dope bro I highly recommend them
Don’t own any gloves as I train jiu jitsu
But just brought some 2 0z gloves for my 5 year old son. Don’t think rival do kids gloves.
Im sure AJ wheres the Rival....
He does. Most comfortable fight gloves I've ever tried, by far.
I thought Grant are the best for protecting your hands.
Marmiteman8767 Grant's are popular fight gloves rather than for sparring.
Nah, Rival and certain types of Everlast give better hand protection than Grant's.
Winning from Japan are great hand protection. Twins from Thailand are pretty good all round gloves.
