Thanks for the Great presentation...I have a question on the influence of Network topology on SIL levels for the process industry ...Does network topology between the Safety controller and safety actuator impact the SIL Levels? ( example safety devices Network in a star topology or in ring Topology)

Yes, network topology can influence SIL. All safety systems are checked with proposed network topology before they go into action on actual plant. Objective is to have a safe operation. I hope this helps.
