Steve my four year search for a pre-emission diesel truck is over! I bought an 04 F350 dually truck with a bulletproofed 6.0 power stroke. The trans was just rebuilt. I take care of the tax and tags on Friday, most excited I’ve been in a long time! I can park my hemi. Yay! Great video, a lot of what you have been putting out over the years has helped me to know what to look for, thanks!

Food and entertainment, drop yard to home (and vise-versa). Both let you PC unlimited distance, just dont drive tired and youll have no issues
To add to you power only plus your truck is paid for and you can fix anything on the truck, that's huge.
UA-cam makes the truck payment and it's through my business but it's far cheaper than the payment on a 2024. 1/3 the cost. I don't plan on paying the truck off for awhile. It's a nice tax deduction.
What do you use for a load board? Any specific site or anything?
8:19 Steve, after you weld the flat piece of steel to the hitch and bolt it to the frame, then weld a triangle gusset to triangulate and make it rigid. The flat steel alone will just bend.

Hay Steve was wanting to ask this question for some time can you explain your in bed fuel tank I see some with D.O.T tag saying it’s approved for road use what about the tanks that don’t have that D.O.T approved tag are they illegally. Thank you love the channel and content.
Never really understood the difference but is one reason I never tie my tank into my main tank. Mine and Josh's both do not have that tag but I have never had a dot officer say anything about it and I bought it years ago
If its not tied into your main tank, unless they see you filling from it they got nothing on you. Red fuel in the slip? Its for heavy equipment, or trailer pumps/generator/etc. They gotta catch you to do anything about it if there is an issue with it

My factory hitch. Cracked just the other day was looking at The BHP intrested to see how they handle it, is your 2 or 2.5 inch shank
2" shank. It's a quality unit, no doubt. I'm pretty sure I use my truck a lot more than most people that have roll pans though. It would be a pretty simple design change in my opinion
What I get out of your channel is carry alot of tools so you can make your own repairs.
I barely have to touch the tools anymore. Maybe once a week I'll do something. I think I've used them 3 times this whole trip and one of them was to adjust the hitch height

How does that make sense? I swear y'all get dumber by the day. Down time means I'm not running. If I barely have any down time that means I'm always loaded or headed towards a load.. Sad I have to even explain that..
Like why is Josh sitting wtf........cant he burn a tank of fuel to get somewhere and hustle. Looks like he doesnt have the same mindset as yourself to get stuck in and get it done.
Not his fault. He's got plenty of fuel, there just isn't any loads within a 300 to 600 mile radius of him that he could take.
This is the real world that I try to explain to people. He also doesn't have access to load boards and is reliant 100% on dispatchers. Everyone thinks they're going to come out here and it's going to be great. I earned my way to where I'm at. Most new people have to prove themselves. There was 20 to 30 loads called on in that time. When I started in this industry I sat a lot too. I dropped in Texas this morning and am already headed to my next run
