Really Smart way to play the character, use staggers with dissolve and switching between rage on and off constantly in order to keep the pressure. The super to cover the stance change and to turn it back on to continue pressure is pretty clever as well
I think Kazu has been so far the best Strive A.B.A player since realease. Most I have seen cant win a single set lol

Blocking and spacing with her is so key. Even in base form she can still move decently. Air dash is a must. She has ways to close distance in a sneaky way. Her H.s and 2.k goes pretty far as well. Really like her mechanics.
6h goes nowhere. Air dash sucks. Idk what you're smoking. Neutral in normal mode is mainly grounded, 2k fs and 5h are the main pokes.

@@vloomn You have no idea how high up 6h reaches my dude its kinda crazy. Air dash is her best movement tool when mixed in with the command dash. You sound bad.
@@maxrusty3596 why does it matter how high it reaches when it's 17f? 2s and 6p exist anyway. Air dash is very slow on her and she has shit air normals.

What I love about A.B.A is that she's not super difficult to play execution wise. The main difficulty with her is landing your setup combo to go into jealous rage and then keeping up with her speed as you go full monkey mode and try to eat the other character's face. And I really like that way Kazunoko plays her. No ridiculous 15-hit combos that 99% of players will never hit in a match, just a few simple ways to get in and setup c.S, f.S, HS into her DP into her super, or into the 2 hit bandage swipe spear combo, played *extremely* well. I saw her air combo a couple times, but that's about as complex as things get, no microdash pickups into roman cancel into air combo into midair bonding and dissolving. It's cool to see, almost makes me think I could play like that if my execution was tighter and I had faster reactions.
I seriously can't see her in top level play still. Knowing this is a compilation of good matches, I can just imagine how many rounds you had to sift through where people spaced her out and had to make one to two big reads to make her mechanic work. Still a fun character imo but my god if you go against a patient player...
Ngl I don’t think it’s any different than playing Pot, Goldlewis or Nago vs any zoners. Albeit her buttons aren’t as good in normal mode but they’re cracked in Rage mode. Like her enraged mode deadass may be the best character in the game.
They basically just gave her infinite bloodpacks. in return for losing goku moroha, made it 100x easier to go in and out. They took her fireball and gave her a parry. They basically cut away all the extra stuff and distilled her. Danzai is still danzai. Her command dash is still her command dash, and yeah normal mode is still trash, but her buttons and specials still do work.
God, they made her almost a direct port from +R
I really hope they do this well with Slayer

This was some of the worst crap I'd seen in fighting game history. Shiny graphics doesn't make something look interesting. It's what happens during a match that does. I'm out. I don't know why people were having some kind of bonerfest. The game limits you far too much to be exciting and ABA looks just as lame as the rest of the cast in this game.
