Anyway to restore an Apple TV 4K manually with the Siri remote? I'm stuck in conference mode and can't reach the menu.

I guess there is no way to downgrade 5th gen (A1842) AppleTV 4k? There is no USB Port. Ethernet has not been working on my 5th and 6th gen AppleTvs since OS 17 update. When I Reset to Factory settings, it still retains the same OS version (17.2)

I’ve factory reset and it went through entire system. Came back up and didn’t reset anything. All users and apps were still on Apple TV. Did it again and say thing. I literally had to go through and delete apps. Sign out of previous owner. Anyone else have this issue

I can't reset my Apple TV
I bought Apple TV+ with my new smart TV. So, I am giving my Apple TV box to my daughter. I want to reset it because she has housemates, and I don't want to leave my password and credit card information on it. I get that all of that information is on iTunes, but I am giving her the laptop that had my iTunes on it too. I don't want to take any chances so I am being extra careful.

Sorry but the title is misleading. This is not a restore, but a reset. A reset is resetting the device to factory settings. Restore is reinstalling the whole firmware from scratch.
