stalwart, the sniper, supply pack and some boom booms sounds sweet
Honestly doesn’t seem like you’d need the supply pack, take the jump pack instead haha.
Stalwart has insanely good ammo economy, you’ll very rarely run out. Plus getting up on buildings or rocks would really help with the marksman rifle
Stalwart doesnt really need the supply pack, even on max fire rate. Id run that with shield or rover.

It is firing rockets, instead of shells
It fires a hell of a lot slower and you have to sacrifice your primary weapon slot to use it. This will just be like another tool in the toolbox. Some loadouts will suit the auto cannon and other loadouts will suit this new rifle.

With autocannon you're not only sacrificing a support weapon slot (which are more powerful and can clean way faster) but you're also sacrificing a crucial backpack slot, only for it to have what? A slightly better fire rate? And its also a primary so you don't have to drop it for yourself if you die so no risk of losing it?
Oh and also reload. You have to stop for autocannon but most likely won't have to for this one. So you sacrifice mobility, backpack, a stratagem slot to get a slightly faster firing weapon than this primary.

The weapon's sound doesn't match the impact dmg at all?
Explosive rounds are generally subsonic. They are realistic.
Its firing a similar projectile to the Dominator, just bigger.
Rocket propelled rounds. There's a delay after the initial primer charge sends the round out of the muzzle and the rocket propellent ignites. There's a real world gun that uses this method as well as the popular Bolt gun from WH40k
It’s not a conventional rifle, it wouldn’t use as much powder (so a smaller boom) as the round’s propelled by a rocket. Strictly a scifi thing but it makes sense to sound weaker.
Idk what the guys above me are saying, is the same sound as both Diligence, probably the "marismas rifle" default sound

Diligence has fast velocity, fast fire rate, slightly low damage for a fast-firing DMR admittedly, but it has a good magazine capacity and it doesn't have weight (the inertia when you move your gun around) meaning you can very accurately snap to targets at closer ranges.
If you are able to click heads and weak spots, then the Diligence is one of the better guns in the game.

I’ve had the chance to use this weapon. It does have a fairly short effective range than you expect from a sniper rifle. The bullet automatically explodes after reaching about 50 meters. So take that into consideration when using this weapon.

I think that this Primary works best with teams.
Have one person dedicated to Objectives/Explosives use this gun from a distance to apply heavy bombardment when the chunkier enemies roll in. The Eruptor's fire rate is way too slow and even with the explosive radius, it is not recommended for wave clearing. Have the other teammates cover the frontline to give the Eruptor user the room they need.
The best Support for this weapon would be something like the Machine Guns (preferably the Stalwart for wave clearing) but even then, one could maximize their destructive output by bringing in something like the Quasar, Autocannon, or even the AMR. Again, it's all up to preference and situation!
This weapon makes so much sense and I bet it's going to be apart of the next warbond. We had the AMR as a means of dealing with medium to heavy enemies with long range precision but this means you need a primary that can handle crowds or you stick solely to a stealth playstyle from long range. Alternatively, we have our current marksman rifles that give us the utility of quiet, supressed sound for mid to long range engagements of small enemies and guards without alerting nearby targets. This however meant you needed something for bulkier enemies and could still potentially suffer from crowds if you're not precise or stealthy with the primary.
Up until now we've only had your choice of sniper, loud from long range with loud impact, or quiet with long range and little impact. Picking either meant you commit to a playstyle or give up the other for more flexibility in your kit when going into a mission. Now with this, we have a primary that serves the role of the AMR without making it obsolete since it can't fire as quickly. It's a bolt action and while the AMR still only has 7 rounds per magazine, you could rapid fire these shots from one to the next with decent damage and a little aoe to a degree. This gives you the aoe power to pick off targets clumped together or pick off stronger targets, while giving up your flexibility when it comes to crowds or close quarters.... WHICH LEADS TO WHY THIS GAME IS SO GOOD AND WHY THIS NEXT WARBOND IS GOING TO BE SO HYPE-
The Truth Whisperer... A SILENCED Assault Rifle. A weapon that makes you able to handle cqc and some mid range engagements that involves crowds without it being overly loud by sacrificing your long range... Which you can in turn bring the AMR to supplement. Vice versa, bring the Eruptor but as said... consider something with more crowd removing ability like the machine gun, the stalwart, the laser cannon, heavy machine gun, te flamethrower... maybe more in the future with the potential of customizable stratagems and weaponry giving you options to add suppressors or etc to current existing weapons to modify as your kit needs.
I love this game and the devs so damn much, they know what they're doing and I trust them with the path of this game.
They released an official trailer showing this in the next warbond already.

My thoughts exactly. That thing looks like a support weapon, so it could make running an lmg as a primary a really good option.
The new HMG is already capable of penetrating everything this can, probably even more. it would make more sense to pair this with a stalwart to shred light armor enemies without compromising mobility.

@@nahfr. it looks like at the moment it shares the same sound as the other 2 DMRs in the game. A weak and artificial sound for something that looks like it fires a large caliber. I feel like it needs to sound chunkier

Other than the model, most of the stats are placeholders because they aren't ready to be put into the game yet. Since it's in the same weapon class as the other 2 marksman rifles, maybe it also shares the same sound effect as a placeholder

Only issue I have with this is that sound effect for the shots is absolutely pathetic to how a rifle like this is supposed to sound. This should have sounds like the autocannon
I would take one of the machine guns. Especially that intermediate cartridge MG with the 200 round belts.

Meanwhile the autocannon slaps Vs both factions and you get more flexible usage,big ammo capacity and objective capabilities.
They have not released a gun yet that can do all those jobs as good as the autocannon.
Autocannon takes up your back pack. There’s more utility in other loadouts

The sickle is currently one of the best primary weapons in the game.

The Breaker Incendiary is super strong against bugs, probably top-tier.
sluggers was nerfed because replace snipers, but this rifle looks like a explosive shotgun
It has 5 rounds and a super slow firerate its not a shotgun

This thing eats your primary weapon slot, has poor ammo capacity, fires slow as hell, and has a max range of 50m. I'm not gonna trade the sickle or scorcher for this thing.

The game isnt made for Snipes. AMR Is a sniper with an explosive round. When u get overwhelmed cause it will happen, I wanna see how this weapon performs then.
You use snipers when you run stealth. My team and I use AMR. Very rarely do we get swarmed.
Most awkward "Bolt Action" Sniper Rifle. The bolt lever is in the front of the gun wtf?? is it because the ammo it shots with failed to recycle, so the user have to manually recycle the chamber? It looks like JAR-5 Dominator but a different variant.
So that’s why they nerf the slugger

It's pretty much useless against trash enemies, so there is a chance that it will release this way.

This makes no sense. Why make a weapon that combines auto cannon, anti material, impact grenades and frag grenades into a primary of all things?
Even as a support weapon this would be powerful. I feel like I'm missing or misunderstanding something here.
It has a low magazine capacity and low fire rate, so it's not good for hordes of little enemies
Anti Materiel has 7 bullets and no AOE. This gun has 10 meters blast radius which is more then most grenades and 5 bullets in a mag which is only 2 less. The other weapon with similar blast radius is a grenade launcher, I don't think this weapon has a problem with cleaning up smaller stuff. The only drowback is a ROF which is fair, but that is a primary... Why are we even comparing this with special weapons...?
Don't take me wrong, this weapon is an interesting hybrid of different special weapon traits and I think it works nicely as a less specialized more universal special weapon. I just don't understand why this is a primary. There is no other primary that we can realy compare this to.
@@corax1996 The rounds explode after 50 meters automatically. the explosion has a 5 meter radius, by testing (someone dropped it for me in-game) it doesn't clear really well (smaller automatons/hunters) and you really cant engage with close enemies in the same way you can with the scorcher. The drawback with this weapon is that it cant do any of the things that primaries are good at (rounding out your kit, dealing with chaff) - its heavy-handling profile really shows that its not something you're meant to use on the little guys (unless you have the ammo backpack).
You could say that you could simply use the stalwart or other support weapons to cover its weakness, and thats exactly its point. Its essentially a very limited support weapon you can use to round out machine guns/support weapons without AT capabilities. Through its true effectiveness remains to be seen.
This weapon is devs trying to make hoard clearing support weapons have a reason for existence. With it players will be encouraged to use Stalwart, MGs, Laser Cannon and others for clearing hoards.
that damage is weak
like the Scorcher, that's just the IMPACT damage, there's also the hidden explosion damage. There's a reason why shots from Plas Punisher deals more damage/shot than Scorcher (I've tested this), despite having the same 100 dmg stat. 230dmg alone doesn't one-shot Bile Spewers even with headshot you know.
Two shotting a cannon turret and one shotting Bile spewers ain't weak lmao.

It's based off the gyrojet, just upscaled. Similar to the dominator.
