Cat D5M LGP

I am not really good on dozers but there fun but it get challenging!

IMHO the D5 is a little light. I pushed hundreds of thousands of yards with a D5 LGP. We (Fresh Kills Landfill) had them before we switched to D6 LGP. I have pushed and graded millions of yards with the D6 LGP. Like going from a Chevy to a BMW. Fingertip controls are OK, I like standard control better.
We sent 4 of our D6 LGPs to HO Penn to be refurbished. One came back with Cats Extra Heavy Duty bottem and tracks. WOW. You see it right away. But it makes the machine smooth as butter. A must for every Operator to experience. Have fun. IUOE Local 15 (ret 38 yrs)

thanks. i have a few different dozers in mind. i already tried one out and will be trying another d5m out. having a hard time picking a bulldozer to buy

D5M LGP is a Good tool, light enough to be quick on its feet with middlin o punch but get LGP and XL is a good thing also, PAT Blade is a Must,

between this and a deere are the only way to go around aparts there both so good you cant make a choice,so we decided which one sounds better haha!

ahh i thought it was nice and quick,but dad didnt like it cause of the finger tip track clutches on it but hes old school haha.
