This song doesn't need much introduction. It was really hard to listen to this song over and over and try to rewrite the English words, knowing what and who this song could be about. I couldn't do it without crying. I didn't want to touch this song because I don't think I can do it justice nor deliver the message well. But I think the message of the song is that of comfort. And I was comforted. To the loss of a past self, to passed time, to lost friends. Memories are evidence that they never are truly gone. So thank you IU.

I lost my little brother a month ago and my tears kept falling listening to this cover while I reminisce about him. I know he now lives in my memory but I will wait an eternity to see him again. Before understanding the lyrics completely, I thought the melodies of this song is gorgeous and beautifully created. But now that I finally understood the story behind the song and the lyrics I can’t help but feel my heart shatter. IU is so strong.
