What's up, Michael here. In this video we're discussing the tricks in the Prestige and whether they are possible from my perspective as a magician.
I'm also pleased to announce that we will be posting regular magic tutorials and reviews to this channel! That kicks off soon with three original trick tutorials dropping on this channel in the second week of July 2024, starting Tuesday, July 9.

*an extra note: my opinions are coming from my experience in magic and the things I have learned and read. My doubt on the aquarium illusion specifically came from what I know in reading the book the History of Magic as well as yet another comment I believe Penn Jillette made in his video reaction.

RIP Christopher Mackenzie Priest (14 July 1943 - 2 February 2024), one of my favourite authors and author of the novel _The Prestige,_ upon which this movie is based.
He died this year. I just thought somebody should mention it, here.
Great video man! I’m energized to see what you do next!
Very cool video, looking forward to more!
I loved the breakdowns, can’t wait to see more!
Amazing insight, thank you for going into depth and showing another viewpoint on the magic tricks in the movie!!!
Amazing video, keep up the great content and looking forward for them ❤️
I love the linking rings, especially Shoot Ogawa's "ninja" version. However, for whatever reason it's one a lot of people either seem to know or think they know so it gets similar derision to the film by default. Provers go a long way with it I think, you have to really prove the rings wholeness/solidity or there's no point. Nice vid btw best of luck with the channel.
Welcome back bro
Ooh it’s time to rewatch The Prestige. It’s also time to rewatch Now You See Me, but for the Woosh 😂. 8:13
Woo hoo bullet catches!
😂😂😂
I've disliked the video, but I want to tell why - you keep getting sidetracked. Its 6:54 and you talked about the actual topic of the video for 30 seconds, tops. Channel trailer after a long intro felt like a commercial after watching a movie for 30 seconds. As a first time viewer, I came for the title of the video.
- Put channel trailer in a separate video
- Please cut disclaimers and stop explaining things you have already explained once.
I didn't dislike but I agree with this commenter. Nice idea for a video though!
