Its a shame that Suzuki dropped its 2 stroke line. This generation of the RM250 was the best line of bikes that Suzuki ever produced. With a few minor upgrades, these bikes would be competitive with modern 250's.
there were plans to make the latest generation suzuki frames accept the old 2 stroke motors, only requiring a single small adapter on one of the engine mounts... and somehow the project was scrapped from the guys up above, but there are some articles and pictures available online... i think the underlying problem is the factory doesn’t have the necessary requirements to reproduce the two stroke frames or engines (to provide continued replacement parts support)
@@AbcAbc-ox6pg if you can buy an RM250 buy it. They are hard to find because the guys that own them won’t sell them. V force has been beast of a reed cage since it came out ! I remember when NE pro Pat Barton started using them on his 125 and 250 . He always had some killer fast bikes ! And best looking!
Kenny u look really good. Not much for suzuki but looks really nice. Good job Chris. Remember you as parts guy at Honda of troy in West Carrollton, Ohio. Always good and professional. Thanks from all of us who had dealings with you! Keep up the good job you are doing, I know I enjoy your efforts put into each video.
Ask him where Grant Langstons bike is lol. 2 stroke life 😊 that rmz rear fender looks like shit, its not as flat as new bikes seating, sticks in the air too much. Stock plastics on this bike would still look amazing. Suzuki had the best looking bike.
Took this bike for a few laps, next thing you know I got into a fist fight with a spectator, crashed a rental car, wrecked a hotel room, and ended up in jail.
Suzuki are barely making 4 strokes, so I highly doubt they'll ever make a 2 stroke again. Unfortunately suzuki are struggling big time at the moment, their bikes haven't been updated properly for years, they have no factory team in Europe, and no official factory team in the USA. Unless someone injects a serious amount of cash into suzuki's mx bike program I don't think we'll see them around for much longer. It's a real shame, I loved my '03 RM125's. I was sponsored by a suzuki dealership in' 03,and was given 3 bikes for the year. The stock practice bike was awesome, explosive power on the bottom end and she handled like a dream with just a set of Renthals and the stock suspension setup properly. The race bike was on another level completely. It was almost too fast. The RM was definitely my favourite of the brands I rode for, and I still have the race bike from that year!
Sounded bitchen , he looked fast, no haulin ! It's all l ride, 2-strokes ! Take a little more skill to go fast, but so much more fun. Older than you guys and it has kept me aggressive and fast !
Kenny looked great, but when will we see you, Keefer, riding a twostroke again... And sorry, but those re-style kits just looks like crap, especially the rearfender)!
Why do the restyle plastic look like garbage? Sure front end is okey, but the rear is awful. The original Suzuki rm plastic is still very good looking (look at 7 deuce deuce SoBe Suzuki kdub#14 tribute bike for the redbull sx straightrythm, it looks sharp even in 2020.
What do you mean jetting is hard? Young up on 2 sizes from stock with aftermarket pipes done? don't touch anything it's not faster you guys running them too lean that's all you hear
This bike is way more interesting than any 450 made now. That's why he's excited and why we are watching this.
They're all fast, computerized vacuum cleaners.

I loved the 125 line up. But yes, i agree
They were copies of the YZ so yeah they were pretty good
@@jonruger I have a YZ250 so do you think it isn't worth to buy a second bike, a RM250?

Glad we got a Guy Like Keefer in our world of Moto.Keep it up Racer X!
Always wanted a 05 RM 250, great build 👌
Love to see him try to lap that track quicker on a 4 stroke. I think he be trying for a long time. That bike is awsome.
I always put a flywheel weight on all the 2 strokes , its not just for offroad. Alwsys do reeds, pipe and silencer 's too !
Fun Fact: This bike has been massaged, a lot
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol such a weird word to use
Rubbed and Tugged
He obviously sticks his Weener in the exhaust
The bike has bin abused
Test rider looked pretty good! Great rider seen from here.

Crisp as F**k !!
I own one and honestly it’s in my will to go to my sons. We call it the Yellow Rhino! These RM250’s are fierce !!!
Great episode.
Dude looked fast and fun.
Sweet bike! Rode a 2002 a few times and fell in love. Felt like a 125
I had an 02, I liked that bike a lot.
That bike sounds amazing! I bet the smell was awesome, as well. 👍💪😎
Suzuki would make a ton of money if they put this bike into production again
on the pipe !! that sound .....07:47
My RM is a similar build . Other than the 295 kit by Eric Gorr. Fun as hell
Not sure on those restyle kits. Love the RM250 though!
Same. I’d rather have a replica bike
The rar fender looks weird.
yea im right there with you on that. Nothing beats the looks of the original plastics on these puppies.
Awesome bike!

Really beautiful bike😇
Only thing that could’ve made the video better would be the Goat ripping around on that bad boy 🐐

i was hoping this bike was for jlaw to rip the nationals. still sick tho
Pretty sure he's in jail
What sounds better than a 2 stroke on the pipe?😎
race you guy look great
It’s the flywheel weight that gets the traction to the ground
I want to seen you build the oldest bike that can rip a modern track! Like the first yamaha monoshock.

That rear fender looks like it's not right... sticking up way too high. It really looks really odd.
I think that’s part of the updated plastics kit along with the different rad shrouds and plates.
I thought the same thing, I had a 06 RM250 and the rear fender went straight out.
Rob Healy x J-Law!
Why did I crack up when he said , I had jlaw in me today 😂
Took this bike for a few laps, next thing you know I got into a fist fight with a spectator, crashed a rental car, wrecked a hotel room, and ended up in jail.
Nothing like the sniff of 2 stroke in the morning. Haha
Couple lightweights huh? Lol just kidding thanks for the video! Well done 🤙
Clear grip tape!
How did they get seven more horsepower I want to know for my 08
Also my two boys would ride at same time you were at Dayton MC.

Ah yes LACR dislocated my shoulder and got a concussion there

Craigslist lurk'n everyday
Found a 06 crf250r with 10hrs bone stock and the Dunlop tires from the factory and bought it at my mechanics when it was getting gone over to be sold
Why does Keefer look like Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad
Wow Keefer couldn’t even show any footage of him riding it ! Wow that’s disappointing
I know you need to make a profit so I'll give you 1500 for it.
And I'll forget about it being raced all day for the camera.
I'm getting on 74
