The thing about some of the cards mentioned like the Marill, is the graded gem rate being very low like the magikarp from Paldea Evolved and selling for over 200% of its cost after grading fees. Some recent sales put PSA 10 copies for $200-300.
Marill got more expensive around the time the pokemon center released the Marill and Dragonite Squishmellows. Everytime I buy my son a new pokemon squishmellow (he's 2) I buy a raw copy with the intention to grade, or a 10 of that pokemon. Has to be an IR or SIR. Def giving him those cards one day 😊
I picked up the deerling and sawbuck in Japanese on whatnot for $1 each! They are beautiful cards! I'm glad the Japanese market isn't booming like the English one idk how I would afford cards lol
I like the Chansey from Twilight. So cute with the boxes, or whatever they are, flying out of its hands. Then you have Psyduck there watching and getting a headache, and Snorlax taking a nap in the corner. Lol.
Realistically though on those lower priced cards who is buying multiple dozens or hundreds of copies to profit off of these gains? Imaging having to offload that many copies
Which IR from this video surprised you?
Toedscruel, didn't even know that pokemon exists. Sick artwork, but that price jump seems like a one off considering the volume.
They all surprised me lol. Impressive gains
I think it's partly due to people using it in dragapult decks recently @@leons9935
Plot twist, baby Magby chilling at Groudon's volcano
The swablu is also a seni-connecting card as well cause the Altria SIR shows it flying really high while the wingull are below it

Glad I was able to grab a Marill IR from Paldea Evolved for 7.50 a few months ago, can't believe how much that card has increased
Smart move! Marill is goated
