Fun Fact: Meta Knight had an unused victory quote in Brawl. What was it?
"Now, my power is without rival" How true that came to be...

Oh god I didn’t notice, that amiibo is a genius
huh
I think we all had that point where we thought we were the best player ever. And then we got destroyed by some 20 year old first round in bracket.
Nah, I never did. I was busy losing repeatedly to my good friend at lunch in my school to think that.
Yeah... but I've never been to a tournament, so for me it was Smash 4 online that destroyed me.
Won my first match in a high school tourney, then lost to a K Rool and Ganondorf in a row. I’ve always been bad against heavies. Also, the kid I played against was like 11 and really bad
My Smash career peaked when casual games kept turning into 3v1 vs. my Lucas and Toon Link back in the day.
But I never even tried competitive, so check that K/D. Not the worst.
Oh no, the first, last, & most likely, only Smash tournament I went to, I went with the mindset that I was going to have my ass handed to me. Suffice to say, my sole expectation was met 110%. Collectively lost 1-7 overall matches.
My favorite Brawl memories are :
- Getting infinite coins in custom stages in coin smash
- The subspace emissary
KLGB76 subspace was godly
Someone Unknown choctopus doesn’t like sub space and it hurts me
@@hammergames04 That's just cause he was made to play on the hardest difficulty. It's better on the lower difficulties where you can focus more on the amazing cutscenes.
I total forgot about the coin thing, you just brought back so many memories man holy shit
I loved subspace. The plot was amazing
I’m sorry to all the others but this is my favorite amiibo of yours
This is a really great one. There are too many to love at this point

Smash 64 Pikachu.
A Corkscrew Meteor Falco.
Any projectile character and teach it to only use projectiles.
Any character with a good final smash and train it with items.
A ridley amiibo in giant smash.
A luigi with all three slots being strong grab.
A Dk amiibo named “Easy DK” and make it as bad as possible.
Any charcter that’s very lightweight with all three slots being trade off.
A wifi link amiibo.
A sonic amiibo with all three slots being speed up.
nah name it "soft dk"
All of these, but especially the speed up sonic. I want to see mad amiibo SDs

I grew up with brawl. I remember when I was about 8, my 4 year old brother would be meta knight and just hold jab. I swear that move it unbeatable
JackGoldWolf His Jab is actually one of the worst Jabs in the game. Nobody used it over the other tools that Meta Knight offered.
Yeah my childhood was brawl too but I was like 5 and I think I kept using Kirby because I thought his copy ability is sick.
Heck yeah, you followed the spirit advice! SS tier’s starting to look like an absolute beast!
Hey Captain Kidd, there's a certain spirit that, when raised to max level, gives stats nearly identical to a fully buffed Amiibo. That spirit... is the Primid spirit. It's a neutral type, meaning you don't have to worry about type advantage or disadvantage, and it's stats are balanced, with both attack and defense reaching around 2000 or so. If you ever want to fight an Amiibo with spirits and you want to do it on even footing, I would use that. It would help with training something like this.
how do you get it?
@@byanar You can find it in the World of Dark towards the end of the top path. It's in the dungeon, part of one of the quizzes, I think.
@@twilistrategist1272 ok thanks
Disregard what I said before. I just replayed it and it's actually towards the beginning of World of Light, in the fortress that you find on the left path after getting Marth.
The joke is that we like this
Favorite Brawl memory hmm unlocking Lucario in Subspace Emissary I was not expecting him to be in and my Pokemon Platinum loving heart couldn't handle it.
@@aurahero9842 haven't mained Lucario in smash since Brawl but, he was my main for Pokken tournament, hopefully they incorporate some of his techniques from that game into Smash 6.
The entire lead up to release and the daily website updates with new info was probably my favorite thing about Brawl. Going to check the site every morning during HS comp class was my daily habit.
And post-release, the battleship cutscene from Subspace Emissary was my jam. I must have gone back to watch that a couple dozen times.
I was introduced to Smash with Brawl but was horrible, then got pretty good with Smash 4 3DS, and honed my skills with Ultimate.

Ah, thinking about brawl brings a smile to my face...
My favourite memory is waking up super early to play 100 man brawl, we felt like pros playing it...
I'm 18 and although I didn't have Brawl, my friend did and I have many fond memories of doing the boss rush mode into the early hours of the morning to unlock Wolf, with me playing Kirby and him playing MK. We had to try so hard not to get too hype and wake his parents up. 😆 Whenever they came down, we'd switch to the news and pretend we were watching that instead, and although this was obviously bull, they let it slide cus y'know, kids be kids. Sorry for the long comment, but your comment about Brawl memories really brought back some happy times for me. 😊
My brawl memory....having no idea what smash was and thinking that the higher percent you had, the more health you had....I was literally clueless
My favorite memories of brawl were the campaign and the sound design. I used to play way too many hours of subspace, ended up finding a way through the great maze so i could kill tabuu over and over, despite not knowing what the shield button was. Playing with friends over was so much fun, and the satisfaction from the sounds was amazing. Remember all the sounds the crowd would make when you launch someone? Remember meta knights tornado and the clanging noises? Brawl was the perfect casual game for a long time. The 8 year old nostalgia is still there after all these years.
Love it c:
The brawl memory that is still in my mind is the story mode, especially the scene where the Robs sacrifizied themselves :( it was sad... really sad
Brawl was my all-time favourite game in my first decade of life, and meta knight was my favourite character. Not because of his insane imbalance (which I wasn't aware of until a few years ago) but for the fact that he looked cool. Also, playing the subspace emissary with my siblings blew my mind
I'm pretty sure SS tier is the most enjoyable amiibo to watch that I've seen at least
Brawl was me and my brothers’ favorite game when we were younger
SS Tier after the first stock: Yeesh Fiyaah, you made me use like 1% of my power man.
My favorite Brawl memory is definitely when me and my friends late at night played Pokémon Stadium for around 60-70 minutes and by the end it was the cult of the “Almighty Yogi (Yoshi)” vs. a Shadow Toon Link. Good times were had
Dang it! I thought I’d be the first one to perfectly replicate brawl meta knight in my knowledge.
Favorite thing from brawl was hearing the character scream into the Wii remote at 3am
My earliest brawl memory is of me and my dad playing co-op on the zss and pikacbu subspace mission, but I can’t think back anymore before that
“I pressed neutral b! That should have won me the interaction!”
Said every Meta Knight player ever.
Highlight of brawl:
I use to fight tabuu on intense difficulty like every day made me think I was the best in the world.
My favourite brawl memory was the first ever time I beat subspace as pikachu, I got way too excited
My brawl memories are:
Feeling scared when the game went silent and the game over screen came up from subspace emissary.
Don’t judge.
I grew up on brawl , my favorite moment was having a Kirby- down b- only tournament with 10 of my friends. Oh the childish laughter
"don't suggest smash 4 bayo"
is that targeted at my suggestion from last time
my favorite brawl memory is wen me and my friend were on the Pikmin stage, I was on a wheeled box on the left side and my friend was near ledge. I for some reason down tilted and me and the box went flying, my friend was hit by the box and we both went careening into the monsters mouth just as it closed. We laughed for ages. also his main was meta knight and mine was lucario.
13:28 If a real fox player followed my landing like that, I would actually freak out.
I was mad when you described his gameplay as I 5 year old playing Kirby because I was a 5 year old Kirby main when I played the game for the first time
Back in the brawl days, my brother and I created a game we called "Soccore" which is hardcore soccer. We made a box you couldn't get out of and put only soccer balls on very high and put some bad "goals" one the left and right. We played timed with infinite time and had a blast.
Seeing Sonic came up out of nowhere to reck Tabuu to saving the Nintendo franchise.
1:40 all of us couch warriors thought we were the best in the world at some game and some point
My favorite memories from Brawl definitely came from the Subspace. I remember being stuck in the Great Maze, running around the entire place, having everything completed but never realizing I had to go to that one room that showed all the trophys of all the characters I defeated. I never realized that the door was opening to Tabuu and I had to press up.
Yeah, my first smash was smash 4. I thought I was good when I would spam side-b as dark pit.
Then you tried online ?
@@sachalec3548 Lol no I though I was good when I played locally, I was like 9
I also started on smash 4 and just played Mario because I like the series. I thought I was good cuz I would mash up-tilt and then Spike my opponent at 30. then when I got more into the game and got ultimate I realized how trash I waswith spamming smash attacks and actually learned how to get better.
my facorite brawl memory was trying to figure out what that thing i did that one time was. I now know it was what is referred to as an "up tilt", but at the time i was very confused.
What’s next? The Sm4sh bayonetta amiibo
Sir Memesalot the first, quadruple jump
Captain kidd made a video saying bayo was probably his worst character, so probably not
I remember playing Brawl after it came out when I was ten and I was having trouble cause I never played a melee except at friends houses but then I tried Meta Knight and I very clearly remember thinking "oh wow this is much easier!"
Another marth amibo with grab buffs. MaRtH gRaB rAnGe!
might as well wait for arms characters grabs
Then call it melee marth. That's actually a better idea. Thanks!
Matthew Gilligan Yh that’s what I was going for, NP tho
Me, A Brawl Meta Knight main: It's like looking into a mirror
Kidd: Were in oklahoma we know about tornadoes.
Any central oklahoman: RIP Moore
My earliest Smash Bros. memory is playing Kirby and both Link's when I first got Smash4. Could've played brawl but didn't.
Lemme guess the next one is going to sm4sh bayo
Don’t bring back those memories I have tried so hard to forget
Best Brawl memory:
I was playing ROB, and the crowd started chanting R-O-B. Thought it was either a glitch, or I was the best player in the world.
My favorite part of brawl was thinking that it was the original smash game
Kidd, i got you a tip for your meta knight amiibo, if you use the spirit "galacta knight" it's almost imposible to kill him, because with that spirit you can do like 100% damage with only a f-smash or a neutral b
My favourite Brawl memory is waiting for an online match in the training room with the training music while eating tortellini in red sauce. Now, whenever I hear the Brawl training music, I get the exact taste of that specific dish.
I played Brawl a bit and loved it, and ever since then i've loved the smash series
My favorite brawl memory is the first time I beat subspace. I played it when I was young and don't all of the way to the maze. Being the small boy I was, I wasn't smart enough to figure it out and it frustrated me to the point where I quit. a few years later I come back and finally beat the game and the nostalgia and satisfaction I felt at that moment will always sit with me
Y’know, I am 11, and I played brawl when I was 6-8 years old, and I was that kid that had no idea what tier lists were, and I always thought I was the best player there was...
In case you did not already understand the joke: I maimed meta knight
My favorite memory of brawl is playing subspace with my brother
Favorite brawl memory: Beating the frick out of lvl 9 Meta Knight with Kirby.
This amibo is just perfect representation or brawl I love him already he my favroite out all the other after gyrocologist
Brawl was my first smash game I owned myself. I loved playing subspace almost every single day. I played Meta Knight, Pit and Ganondorf. 8 year old me never learned about tier lists, but just liked going zoom zoom with Meta Knight and Pit and loved smacking people with Ganondorf.
My favorite brawl moment was “we were playing on four stocks and I four stocked the best player at my school who played a godly fox. And my character? Olimar”
My favorite brawl memory was my two cousins and I playing all the Star Fox characters and always starting off by mashing laser
My favorite times in that game is when me and my friends did special smash in the basic u shaped custom stage. We glitched it so much
My favorite memory is getting my ass whopped because I was playing at night and the brawl start up sound was too loud xD
3:33 favorite brawl memory is when I finished the subspace emissary for the first time
My favorite brawl memory is captain falcon yelling through your Wiimote, It was truely a magical time
My favorite brawl moment was when my brother annoyed me with snake so I would pull out rob and he would scream at me
Dude I've been looking for Meta Knight amiibo videos for so long.
My favorite memory of Brawl was the Subspace Emissary in general, I remember being so fascinated by the cutscenes and story. I didn’t have anyone to really play it with, so that’s what was great to me. I remember thinking how good I was with characters like Ike and Bowser in that game (With the Wii remote and Nunchuck), and then eventually playing online in 4 and getting absolutely stomped (sometimes literally, Ganon), from there is where I started actually really improving as a player, but I always remember my roots in Brawl, even if the gameplay doesn’t hold up as well to some compared to Melee.
I was honestly waiting for something to happen and just out of nowhere like “haha lmao trolled haha noob”
My best Brawl memory was when me and my brother were playing CO-OP in Subspace. We got to the part were Ridley showed up and we both screamed in excitement. We were then told by our dad to turn the game off....
My favourite Brawl memory was staying up late at a sleepover with an old friend of mine, just going ham on classic mode.
I remember not being able to beat Master Hand with Pikachu for the longest time, because I had relied on up specials that do good damage with other characters lol.
By the time I discovered thunder was a move, he was already asleep.
My favorite memory of Brawl was Subspace in general. I played it so much, and it was what kept me occupied when my family was moving and we didn’t have internet or data yet.
Playing as Meta Knight in Brawl was my favorite thing. I didn’t play competitively (didn’t even know how to dodge) but he felt good to play. Then my friends found out he was OP and told me I couldn’t play him (even though I didn’t know any combos). So I became a ROB main in Brawl. When I got to SSB4 and Ultimate, he became my main once more, and I still find joy in playing him... now if only I was brave enough to press the neutral b button.
Brawl falco was my jam. Learning about his infinite was one of the best days of my life
I grew up on brawl, mind you I had no idea how to play properly but it was fun nonetheless
When yous said that brawl MK could use 3 up airs in one short hop. All I know is when I went against my friends doing that I got a Jv 3
My two favorite brawl memories were seeing they added Lucario because he was my favorite pokemon at the time and playing Sonic, that made kid me so happy
Brawl was the first time I had ever beaten my older brother in any video game my toon link vs his snake I remember it was when he came back from basic training and I know him being 20 he was pissed losing to an 8 year old
I remember playing through the subspace emissary with all of my friends... Fond memories
One of my favorite moments in Brawl was in the Adventure mode and Ike sliced the subspace bomb. 9yr old me was the most hype when I saw that.
My favorite Brawl memory was listening to the main theme and the other music in it. All of the music in Brawl is fantastic.
i went through this video and half of another one before realizing you weren't alpharad. had to come back to this one and make sure, nice content 🤝
I remember playing this game as pokemon trainer, Lucario, Luigi, Kirby. I loved pokemon and luigis mansion and Kirby return to dream land. I never unlocked all the characters but was always super hyped when ever we got a new one even if I had no idea who the frick they were.
A dedede that’s just trained to gordo, succ, and crouch
my favorite brawl memory is when i found out sonic was in the game, didn’t see the direct or anything since i was young, and so finding that out and playing him non stop was such a good time
Memories
Captain Kidd: Brawl meta knight is the best smash character to ever exist!
Choctopus: KNOW YOUR PLACE MORTAL
I started playing brawl when I was five and the first character that I ever played was meta knight into my cousin's kirby
I remember playing Subspace as a kid - that Petey Piranha boss is super nostalgic to me. Also that one time I had my wii remote turned up and the Kirby noise scared the living crap out of me
I know it's a bit obscure compared to the meta knight stuff, but mike haze screaming in a money match so his opponent drops his chain grabs is iconic
Brawl was good my sibling only used meteknight we did not know I thought I was trash.
I literally clicked on your video thinking it was Alpharad and after you announced the Fan Amiibo Tournament I just realized.
The best Brawl memory is inflicting pain on myself by playing Ganondorf.
My favorite Brawl memory was reading the manual for the first time many months after owning the game and learning there were more buttons to press on my sideways Wii remote than 1 and the D-pad. I was at least halfway through Subspace at this point
My favorite memory was learning that you could shield. I played that game for two years without knowing you could. And you'll never believe this I found out later there's other attacks rather than specials.
I remember playing through the whole of subspace emissary at a sleep over
My favorite Brawl moment was when I used Ice Climbers and wobbled my brother to 80%
man, I was first introduced to smash by brawl!
I never grew up with melee but brawl is my childhood.
