It si nice i see your work, máster.
Thank you for these videos you upload. Lately I've been doing some figure drawing sessions based on the principles in your book and videos and I'm seeing significant improvement in my artwork! It's funny that i've been struggling with this issue of foreshortening and you make a video about it at the time I need it most haha
Thank you so much for this upload. I struggle in general with figure/ gesture drawing but it gets especially difficult when foreshortening comes into play. This is really helpful, thank you very much.
Just what I've been looking for, thank you for this! Been reading the book for years and is one of my favorite resources ever! Always wanted to figure out foreshortening.
Thanks for sharing, soo helpful!
thanks for the great vids! Keep up the great work. I would definitely like to take one of your classes sometime.
That helped a ton thanks!! 👍 you inspire myself and, clearly, many many other artists Mr. Hampton. ♥️
Awesome! So glad to hear it was helpful!
your videos are like water on a hot day to me ;)
Hey Michael! I wanted to ask if you could do a little “line measurement” video like you talked a little here!
I think the main problem for me is proportions due to not knowing which size the lines on the gesture drawing should be, so a little explanation on how long each should be on average would be awesome!
Did you get a chance to see this short? It might help with your question

@@stevenmichaelhampton now I have! Thank you!
Is it possible to watch the lessons again after the live session? I wanted to take the course but I'll probably not be able to attend on a couple of days. I'd love to learn from you!
Yes, it is! The lectures are all recorded.
Thanks again for sharing... I struggle a lot with foreshortened poses, or poses where the model is crouched and there's many overlapping limbs. Will take some of your advice here on the foreshortening, but do you think you'd be able to expand a little more on how to approach those more "difficult" poses? Again, really appreciate all of these videos, feels like I'm improving every time I watch.
Sure. Can you be more specific? What is it you'd like to see?
Of course, and thank you for the quick response... Generally I find myself struggling with poses where the model is bent over in a way that the chest is "blocking" parts of the pelvis or lower body (and vice versa), or poses where the model is crouching/sitting so that the limbs are "stacked" from the camera's perspective. Would you mind going over how you approach these types of poses? I have your book and have studied some similar examples from it, however I always seem to come out with messy pieces with many confusing overlapping lines when I try on my own.
Hope my description was clear enough, and thanks again for your time and advice!

upload more foundational drawing videos please. Thanks
Did you help design the characters for Overwatch? I saw where it said you worked for Blizzard Entertainment.
Nope. I taught life drawing at Blizzard Academy at their studio for a number of years.
Alright, I'm sorry.
@@voltjmgaming2119 no reason to be sorry, it's all good
Thank you.
